Sweet Poppy is an lively, attentive kitty, loves to play with other kitties but for some reason, is not keen on human touch. This has made it hard for her to find her forever home. She would do well in a home with other cats and does love to play with humans, as long as it is from a distance, especially with a laser light. Capturing that red dot is her mission in life! She may not be a lap cat, but she can still bring your home joy of watching her enjoy life. She would do best in a home that has other cats as company. She does not like dogs and would be uncomfortable around kids. Do you have a warm heart and a patient home? Let her be the shining star in your family. Leo is bonded with His sister Penny. Thier foster affectionately calls them tweedle dee and tweedle dum. They tumble and play hard together, and can be found snuggling quite frequently. Leo is the more outwardly social of the two (will BEG for belly scritches), but Penn comes in a close second. She loves to be near and get chin rubs in particular. Feather toys, overarching exciting things, and bird watching all get the chatter going. Every litter has the assumed leader and extrovert, and Leo happily assumes that role among his current sibling group. Quick to greet you at the door with his sister Penny, he is chatty, eager, and the first to engage in whatever you're doing, whether it's relaxation time or playtime with a string toy (his favorite). He likes initiating a heavy chase/play session with fellow residents, and is first in line for mealtime. Pretty sure he doesn't realize he's not a human child, as he follows you around and needs proximity to his favorite people. He will curl up on the couch with you, and loves being under blankets. Leo does not mind being picked up and held in a calm environment. You can pet him and move around for a bit, but he has places to go, so when he is ready, he will jump down and continue his adventures. He loves all the toys! He would do great in a home with one of his siblings or with another young cat to play with. He would do okay with cats, dogs and kids and has excellent litter box manners. Penny is bonded with her brother Leo. Thier foster affectionately calls them tweedle dee and tweedle dum. They tumble and play hard together, and can be found snuggling quite frequently. She's got a pert little nose, round face, and big luminous eyes. She's happiest receiving chin scritches and lounging adjacent to you on a quiet afternoon. Penny will on a dime swap from playtime with her brother to a good scratch session on her favorite cardboard lounger or corded post, with some possible human snuggles in this mix. Her current favorite spots to nap include the hanging basket on the cat tree or curled with a sibling in a cozy bed, but with time may discover that human laps are the best thing since sliced bread. Roo is an active little guy who was raised by his momma as an only kitten. He loves to play with his mouse, strings, and any toy that makes noise. He enjoys a good stretch laying on the bed by the window. He is a quiet guy but will chirp when he gets picked up. He is not really a fan of being picked up, but once he is there he likes to be carried around and will jump on your shoulders. He would do best going to a home with his foster brother Baxter to play with and help him get his energy out and would do okay with kids. He has not been exposed to dogs, but may do fine with an introduction to a cat-savvy dog. He has excellent litter box manners. Scout is an adventureous and curious boy who is patiently waiting for his forever family to find him! His eyes are so expressive and he is as sleek and shiny as a panther. He is a calm, mellow and "go with the flow" kitty who gets along with other cats, dogs, and children of all ages. When not playing with his favorite toys (balls, springs, fuzzy mice) he might be gazing out the window watching the birds or sleeping on your bed. He is a great bug catcher and will certainly keep your house bug free. He has a sweet meow and can be talkative when he wants to tell you about his day. His favorite place to sleep at night is on your bed, especially if you have a fuzzy blanket that he can nuzzle. Scout has excellent manners and is willing to take his turn when eating. Baxter can be very shy at first meeting, but once he gets to know you, he is friendly and affectionate. He will occasionally sit in your lap, but usually prefers to sit/walk/lay nearby as he leans into your ear and head rubs. He would love to be able to sleep around his human at night and he would make a great working companion. He enjoys finding hidden places to nap, usually under a table or chair and somewhere close to Snickers. Baxter has the cutest meow! It’s high pitched and kind of squeaky, and so, so sweet. Baxter was very shy and tentative at first, but has become more relaxed and willing to explore his environment. He loves to play with his best friend Snickers! They love to wrestle, box, and chase one another all around the house. Sometimes they will snuggle, and Snickers will groom Baxter. Baxter has not had any issues using the litter box. Baxter will do best in a home with his foster brother Roo. They have lived with other cats, although they would do great as an only pair as they are very attached to each other.
