Story
Izzy was adopted from GHS. She is 2 years old and is microchipped. She loves her cat tree and mostly lies around the house. She’s not very vocal and does well with our dogs. We are having a family member move in with us who is extremely allergic to cats, so we are rehoming her. She has never been outside so she would need to be an indoor only cat. She likes to be rubbed but doesn’t like to be carried around. She would do better in a home with older children or adults. She is due for her annual vaccinations in November and we can’t currently provide that for her. Please contact me with any questions. Thank you for your interest!

Story
Larry is a casualty of the after effects of hurricane Helene. His pawrent was my daughter who became homeless. In addition, she is mentally ill. I have done all I can for her. I have the cats ( she has 2) in a kitty condo in my garage. I have a cat colony of 14 that I look after. Also, I have 2 of my own in the house. They need good homes.

Story
Mikey came to my home 6 years ago. A friend of mine had a child that was allergic so I offered to take him. Mikey has been a delight to have. He has a wonderful sense of humor, extremely affectionate and those big green eyes are just so beautiful. I have since adopted a child about a year ago. They started having some medical issues and the doctor is saying that part of the issues could be from allergies from having a cat. Due to this news, Mikey needs to be rehomed. He has had issues with aggression with some dogs, so I would not suggest a home with dogs would be a good fit.

Story
This is Cleo. I adopted her in 2022 from a shelter in Raleigh, NC for my dog. She is a spunky grey and white tabby. She is independent but when she wants she will cuddle and give attention. She gets along very well with my big dog. However, it is best she does not be around a smaller dog than her. Rehoming due to her chasing a tea cup yorkie (my parents of which I had to take in). She is very easy to take care of and I want her to go to a very loving home. Ideally, she would have a friend. Either a bigger dog or cat. She has been around cats and she tends to be playful around them. This really hurts my heart to do but I’m looking for that perfect person to take her in and love her like I do and all her items will be sent with her. She’s always been an I deodorant cat. She likes to occasionally go outside but likes to be let back in. She grew up in a house so preferably I’d like her to be primarily an indoor cat. She is up to date on all shots and has been very loved and taken care of.

Story
Toby is an adorable 4-month kitten born to a stray in my neighborhood mid-August. I took him in a couple months ago to foster. He has been fully vetted. Due to his age, he has not been neutered yet but is otherwise up to date on all shots. The vet thinks he's going to be pretty big once full grown. Toby adapted well to being inside. He is very energetic and loves to play and explore absolutely everything. He's very curious. Q-tips seem to be his favorite toy for the moment but he'll chase anything that moves. I have several adult cats and he loves to try to play with them. He has a very loud purr and I think he do best in a home with a lot of interaction - either from people or other pets. He hates vets and loves food.
