Story

Maisie is a 5-year-old very friendly and social cat. I have had her since she was a kitten, and she has always been wonderful. However, it turns out she isn’t a big fan of kids. We had some incidents when my kiddo first started crawling, but it seemed easy enough to keep them separated after that. Now that my toddler is 2 (and running, jumping, etc), it is stressful for both the kiddo and the cat here in our home. Maisie is the most social cat you’ll ever meet. She loves everyone, even strangers. She greets us at the door when we come home and follows our guests around begging for attention. I know she will adjust well to whoever will give her the attention she deserves and demands! She currently lives with other cats and 2 dogs. She swipes at them when they get in her space, but that hasn’t happened for us in a while. She might get along with other pets, but would definitely prefer a home without small children or overly curious dogs.

Story

Piper is 4 years old and is looking for a family where she has plenty of special attention and care. She really is the cutest tailless ball of fluff you’ll ever see! However, I have had difficultly managing her weight with all of the other animals in our home. We have multiple cats and dogs who are all healthy weights, but I just can’t seem to slim this girl down. I don’t have the time to keep her as active and playful as I’d like, and she LOVES to steal food from the other cats and dogs. She would love someone who has the time to engage her in active play, figure out a special diet plan for her, and keep her VERY thick fur brushed on a regular basis. We have never had any issues at all with her with our other pets or our toddler. If anything, she’s the one likely to be bullied. Piper is shy and likes to hide from strangers and thunderstorms. With patience though, you’ll find that she loves to come snuggle up in your lap when things are calm and quiet.

Sookie is 6 years old and looking for a nice and calm home where she can truly thrive. While it takes her some time to adjust to new animals and people, she gets along well with our other cats, dogs, and toddler. However, we have found that the other people and animals in our home are a bit ~chaotic~ for her. She is definitely most happy when things are quiet and calm around her, and she has a tendency to hide somewhere when they aren’t. We’ve seen what a loving lap cat Sookie is when she isn’t scared, and we want her to be in an environment that better suits her nervous nature.
