My wife and I got Cassie in February, 2018 at a Paws and Claws, a cat rescue facility in Grayslake IL. April 2019 we moved to Swannanoa NC near Asheville. We enjoyed five years together: my wife and I, Binca, our American Eskimo dog and Cassie. August 2022 my wife was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and in April 2024 she moved to a residential facility in Asheville. Shortly after her move, after consulting with our veterinarian, we had to euthanize Binca at 15+ years of age. While I enjoy being with Cassie, I am embarking on some extensive travel mostly related to my memoir writing project about my wife's and my letters to each other before we were married in 1968. I can't count on volunteer cat sitters to help out during several length planned journeys and it's too expensive to board the cat. That's our story. Don Kehrberg

She came as a surprise when my daughter took in her mom who had been abandoned near our home in the winter. Turns out she was pregnant and had 3 kittens shortly after. Mae is 4 months old and is so sweet and cuddly. She loves playing with our dogs and her sister who also needs a home. She loves humans, dogs, other cats. These cats have been very socialized by my daughter. We just do not have the space for anymore pets. She is free to a loving home.

I’m having to rehome my sweet baby unfortunately due to her attacking my dogs and I don’t want her getting hurt. She is about 2 years old. She is up to date on all of her shots. Hi I’m Cinabun! I’m very skittish and shy but once I warm up to you I will give you all the cuddles you could possibly want! I will always greet you at the door and talk to you. I was found wandering in the parking lot at the animal shelter. I LOVE car rides and even ride good out of my kennel! I love sun bathing also! I’m leash trained on a harness but I will only walk where I want. I am a scavenger and will eat anything I can get my paws on so watch out! I do have allergies so I will need to be an indoor only cat and could benefit from allergy medication at least during the warmer weather. I will love you till the ends of time, I can’t wait to meet you and cuddle on your lap! She doesn’t really like children or loud people in general as they hurt her ears and scare her. She can’t wait to meet you!
