Cowgirl is intelligent, beautiful, and stubborn but sweet! She has a very laid-back personality and is not needy, but does love affection and snuggling when it’s given. She is curious and loves to be nosy! Cowgirl has lived with different cats and has gotten along with most of them, but she would do fine as a single cat as well. She has been around children several times and has seemed relaxed and gentle around them, as long as she can have her alone time as needed. Cowgirl is about 7 years old and is mostly indoor, but loves going outside a couple times a week when she feels like it. I adopted her as a kitten from a shelter and have absolutely loved having her. Unfortunately I am having to move to a much hotter climate and while she tolerates Tennessee summers fine, I don’t think she would thrive in this new environment.

Pua arrived at SKC as a freezing cold and soaking wet orphan at less than 2 weeks old. We were shocked that this little fighter warmed up and made it!! Pua is a sweetheart and has the softest fur you'll ever touch. She's a beautiful baby girl and will make an amazing addition to your family!! At SKC, we prefer to adopt to homes that already have a cat or kitten, or are interested in adopting a pair. Had a stray momma cat “adopt us” who was pregnant. Kittens are now 9 weeks old, weened from momma, eating hard kitten food, living indoors, and litter box trained. Lots of energy, but lots of fun and laughter to be had with them. This Male kitten (“Boy”) is very sweet, but still learning about this big world and all the sounds and things around him. Needs a family / human that will give him daily loving and interaction, show patience and allow him to bond. If you are home only to sleep and eat, this Is NOT the cat for you. Momma cat has a great personality - very loving and sweet. Great hunter as well. We don’t know who dad is or what he looks like, but Boy looks a lot like momma.
