We bought Molly in July of 2020 from Craigslist. The seller said she was approx 6 months old but was not sure . They didn’t have parents on site & didn’t know her breed, so our son did a DNA test with catahoula/pointer mix as results. We bought her for our son who was going through a divorce and he loved her and took her to the dog park every day for a couple years. He has since, got married and had a child. They were unable to keep her because of severe allergies with baby so we took her in. Molly is kennel trained & house trained. She loves chasing flys and birds . She loves hiking & swimming (but I think chlorine irritates her skin). She is terrified of loud noises. My husband and I travel out of town a lot and are unable to leave her in the backyard while we are out of town because she will bark all night if left outside. She will love children if they pet her. My grandkids chase her and she doesn’t like that. Great with smaller dogs that aren’t threatening to her.

Hooey is the biggest goofball who deserves someone with the time and knowledge to help work through his visual and hearing impairments that make him unsure of new people. If you look at him or talk to him or give any sort of attention, he's sure to be flashing his fugly smile at you and would smile all day long if he could. He's lived on a ranch since he was born, so he has the energy and stamina to run all day long and work livestock with more training, but he is just as happy being a couch potato with moderate exercise. Hooey is blind in his left eye and has questionable vision in his right eye because of this he gets startled by new people and can have a startling first reaction. Once he's had time to warm up to you and realize you are friends, he'd love to be right up in your face for hugs and loves. He has shared his life with six other dogs, two barn cats, horses and donkeys, all of which he got along with . However, it is unknown how he would do with new dog or cat friends. Although he gets along with a 3 year old who adores him, it is recommended that a slow introduction to small children or older children until he has had some training to work with some of his reactivity due to his vision. She also has great leash manners, and loves walks. She is crate trained (but doesn't need to be crated) and is mostly potty training (will need patient owner to continue potty training process). She's is a smart one, is a quick learner and can learn new tricks with ease. She would do great with a home with a big backyard, maybe even a farm/ranch to hone in her breed skills! Sasha would bring joy and love to any family. She is very alert, high energy, she loves dogs and would do best in a home with another dog. It may take her a few visits before she is comfortable with you. She still needs to learn all normal dog things, commands, leash and potty training.While she lived with other dogs we don`t know how she`ll be with your dog. She is unsure and nervous with the dogs here. She seems to do best with a friendly, calm dog. A meet and greet is required with your dog before adoption.Since she isn`t leash trained and is nervous she needs to go to a home with a tall secure fenced yard. Please ask to meet her outside.
