Please note this dog is NOT an official Underdog dog, and you will be connected with the person who has the dog. Please Contact: Rose, 928-322-9476, Rose.rials18@gmail.com   MEET ANGEL #4!! Angel is a beautiful girl with the most striking blue eyes. She is deaf, so she will need to go to a family who is willing to make adjustments to how they interact with a dog. She does know signs like sit. She loves to be around people and small dogs. Angel is so goofy. She loves to play fetch, play with her toys and play outside in the kiddie pool and sprinklers She is also pretty good with getting baths.  Angel wants to be the alpha female dog, so she needs to be the biggest dog in the house. She should be on a leash at times because she is fast. She needs to be fed separately and given bones only in her kennel. Angel would do best in a more active household with children 8 and up or children that are respectful. However, she has done great with special needs children! She does not like to be crated for long periods of time, so she needs someone who will not be gone all day. Angel loves her people and will follow you where ever you go waiting to give you hugs and kisses. Meet Angel today! Please note this dog is NOT an official Underdog dog, and you will be connected with the person who has the dog. Please Contact Hailey, 480-747-8165, haileyschmidt0220@gmail.com:   MEET HOOEY!! Hooey is the biggest goofball who deserves someone with the time and knowledge to help work through his visual and hearing impairments that make him unsure of new people. If you look at him or talk to him or give any sort of attention, he's sure to be flashing his fugly smile at you and would smile all day long if he could. He's lived on a ranch since he was born, so he has the energy and stamina to run all day long and work livestock with more training, but he is just as happy being a couch potato with moderate exercise. Hooey is blind in his left eye and has questionable vision in his right eye because of this he gets startled by new people and can have a startling first reaction. Once he's had time to warm up to you and realize you are friends, he'd love to be right up in your face for hugs and loves. He has shared his life with six other dogs, two barn cats, horses and donkeys, all of which he got along with . However, it is unknown how he would do with new dog or cat friends. Although he gets along with a 3 year old who adores him, it is recommended that a slow introduction to small children or older children until he has had some training to work with some of his reactivity due to his vision. Hooey is the sweetest goofiest boy. Call about Hooey today! MEET SASHA!!! Sasha is a 1 yr old SWEETHEART!! For a little a gal, Sasha is the full package...  She is playful, affectionate, good with dogs AND cats! She also has great leash manners, and loves walks. She is  crate trained (but doesn't need to be crated) and is mostly potty training (will need patient owner to continue potty training process). She's is a smart one, is a quick learner and can learn new tricks with ease.  She would do great with a home with a big backyard, maybe even a farm/ranch to hone in her breed skills! Sasha would bring joy and love to any family.   She is very alert, high energy, she loves dogs and would do best in a home with another dog. She is the perfect hiking dog or can work with someone who wants an agility dog! She also loves to be a couch potato, the best of both worlds!  If you are interested in meeting this dog, please visit our website for our online application www.underdogaz.com   March 9, 2025, 10:40 pm

Story
Stevie is a 4 year old, 75 lb. Treeing Walker Coonhound mix. We adopted him as a puppy at 4 months old. He has been an amazing family pet, and our kiddos (now 5 and 7 yrs old) have grown up with him. Over the past few months we've had a couple incidents with aggressive resource guarding (bones/toys) and just recently showing aggression toward other dogs at the dog park. He is the only dog in our home so he is a bit territorial. Stevie is high energy, fast and strong and needs regular exercise. He is well trained with basic commands in and around our home, but getting him out into nature he is difficult to contain (hounds & their noses). I am devastated having to consider rehoming him but he requires more consistent behavioral training than we are capable of providing. He would do best in a home with a large yard or preferably in northern AZ in his natural habitat- the woods. Large crate and food will go with him. No fee req. just the right home and owner.
