Story
Lola, a beautiful Mexican mixed breed dog was brought back in 2014. Thought she was slated for a family but discovered she was going into another shelter. Did my best to find a home for her but also fell in love. My life and career has proven too complicated to have a dog. Sadly I am seeking for a forever home for her. She is exuberant, sweet, adventurous, smart and has a strong prey drive. She likes other animals but is also often selective especially after a transition so her being someone’s top priority would be ideal. She needs structure, routine and lots of exercise. A morning running routine would serve her well. She likes kids but also get confused with their excitement and often thinks they need to be herded and that can lead to small nips if she is not carefully watched. Not aggressive by nature but she has shown some aggression towards other dogs to express her position, protection of her master and mostly from fear. She is a happy dog especially when outside.

Story
Our pets are fostered and physically located in Mt.Airy,NC until adopted. Once adopted we can transport to your location or one of our other north eastern delivery locations. This pup is a Catahoula mix. This pup was born 10-20-22. This pup will not be overly large. My educated guess is around 35-40 pounds at maturity. This pup is shy but warms up. This pup is great with other dogs and cats. We have started crate training and potty training. I will consider a reduced fee to the right home! This pup will be current on vaccines, deworming, preventives. This pup will be micro-chipped. This pup will receive a physical and a certificate of health prior to going home. The adopter will get all the health records with adoption. Frances is spayed! We require a prescreen application to adopt. You can get that on our website at www.saveamuttkennel.net

Heath is available for adoption in TX, PNW, and NE (excluding MA & NH) Meet Heath, a 8-month-old Catahoula mix with energy and personality to spare! He's a playful, silly boy who loves to be the first to jump into playtime and equally enjoys crashing for a good nap afterward. Heath was a breeze to potty train and actually enjoys his crate time, especially with a chew toy to keep him company. His favorite things include belly rubs and basking in the sun-though he doesn't mind a little fun if you interrupt him for a quick photo op! Heath is ready to bring joy and laughter to his forever home. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Say hello to Zoey, a stunning 5-year-old Catahoula mix with a big brain and an even bigger heart! Zoey is a curious, intelligent girl who thrives on mental stimulation and loves having a job to do. Whether it’s learning new tricks, solving treat puzzles, or going on exciting hikes, Zoey is happiest when her mind is engaged and her paws are moving. Zoey would shine as the only pet in her future home. She prefers to be the star of the show and would do best without other dogs or small animals, as she has shown signs of prey drive. But don’t worry—she has more than enough love, loyalty, and personality to fill your whole heart! If you’re an outdoor enthusiast looking for a four-legged companion to join you on trails, nature walks, or backyard games, Zoey might just be your perfect match. She’s eager to explore the world by your side and would love an active home that values adventure and connection. Are you ready to give this smart, spirited girl the life she deserves? Zoey is waiting to meet her person—and it might just be you.
