Story
Sadie is an extremely loving 50lb catahoula/Pit mix female who was born on October 7, 2021. What a beauty she is and one with great manners.  She is fully potty trained and crate trained, spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Sadie comes from a neglect situation and is eager to make up for all the cuddles and play time she didn’t receive growing up in her former home. She has an extremely resilient personality and an eager to please temperament. She sincerely craves human interaction and will follow you around the house to be a part of everything you’re doing. When hugged, she likes to hug back by tucking her head around you and pressing in. She cooperates very well for bath time and settles well on car rides. Sadie behaves nicely in public spaces and happily accepts belly rubs from strangers. She has very limited experience around children but is happy to meet everyone she comes across. She is not recommended to homes with very young children simply for the concern of potential knocking them down. She has learned to sit when she wants to be pet, but may occasionally jump up if overly excited. Sadie must go to a home without other pets due to resource guarding around dogs (this does not apply to humans, she is submissive toward humans) and prey drive toward cats.  Her energy level is medium-high. She loves playing fetch to burn off energy, and would probably run for hours if given the opportunity, but she can also settle calmly on those days when it’s stormy or you’re too busy for intensive exercise. She likes to entertain herself with her toys, and is particularly fond of carrying the stuffed toys around to show them off. She needs someone who can deeply connect with her on an emotional level, and would be well suited to the role of emotional support animal (please note: due to resource guarding she is not suitable for the role of service dog, which is different from emotional support animal).    If you want to give this girl a great home to thrive within, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue  at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 30, 2024, 2:10 pm

Story
Meet Dakota, This poor gorgeous girl is going to be killed if a hero isnt found in time. She is scared and wondering where her people went. She didn’t deserve this. The trauma these poor babies go through when being dumped and abandoned and watch their people turn their back and walk away, they never forget that feeling of abandonment. This baby does not deserve to have her life taken when she’s done nothing wrong. PLEASE HURRY TEXT KAREN 4136298152

Story
Are you a high drive breed lover, looking for your new best friend? Zoey is 4-year-old cattle dog with a brilliant mind and the energetic spirit to accompany you on all your future adventures. Zoey is now a Lonely Heart which means she's been with us far too long. To encourage her new family to take the leap and bring her home we have lowered her adoption fee to $200. Zoey is affectionate, food motivated and has even taken a liking to car rides! Zoey loves to learn, and problem solve, so she is looking for someone who will also be enthusiastic about her training. Currently she is working on polite greetings and leash reactivity. She would certainly be a candidate for agility! We think Zoey will need to be the only animal in the home. Adopt Zoey, and you'll have a loyal friend who'll bring lots of love and zest to your life.
