Story
Butler came to us after his owners recognized he was no longer a good fit for them. He has a lot of energy and a HUGE personality. He's fun to work with, goofy, and has shown he can socialize with other dogs under supervision. However, he should be the only dog in the home, as he needs structure and consistent training to thrive. Butler has had great success in a home setting with a trainer, living among a pack of dogs. He is e-collar trained, housebroken, crate trained, does excellent in a home setting, and has great leash skills. Butler will be a wonderful companion in the right home and has the potential to be a fantastic canine companion with structure and leadership. He also has the potential to be a wonderful adventure buddy, but experience with powerful breeds is an absolute must. Butler does have some behavioral challenges and will need strong and consistent leadership. His trainer and handler can discuss this in detail with any interested party. Without structure, he can begin to take advantage of handlers in the home. Starting off on the right foot is very important to Butler's success, and his trainer would be happy to provide follow-ups to ensure his long-term success. We are looking for a handler who is ready for his high-energy, yet very trainable, personality. Please call Pet Rendezvous at 603-447-3435 to book a phone call with Emilie Swett, his trainer and foster, if you have any questions.

Story
Hello, my name is Cobra! I am a very energetic guy who loves running around in the dog park, and going for hikes. I love playing with dog friends and have gotten along very well with all the friends I have met here at the shelter. I have done well with the children I have met, however I am still working on my manners and need to learn not to jump up on smaller kids! I do not have experience living with cats but I would probably chase them for fun. If you are looking for a loving, active companion come meet me today!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Mega is the most precious pup who is special needs and deserves the best home! Although considered special needs he's really your average puppy. He is around 14 weeks old as of September 2, 2023. He currently weighs 20 pounds and he is the sweetest and happiest guy. Mega came to us at just 4 weeks old. His eyes did not fully develop so he is completely blind. He also has a mild case of hydrocephalus but as of now he has no symptoms. We were not familiar with this condition so we have had guidance from our vets but also joined a group on facebook called hydrocephalus in dogs. It has been so helpful and also encouraging. There are many dogs that live happy healthy lives with this condition. Mega is currently on on generic prilosec which is cheap and available over the counter. This is encourage for dogs with his condition. Mega is so happy all of the time. He loves toys, other dogs, cats, all humans, giving kisses, snuggling, car rides, playing tug of war, and he sits on command. He is very treat motivated. Although he is blind he gets around very well. He knows his way around my house and knows exactly where the food and water bowl are. He can even climb steps but does need some help getting down them. He really is perfect in so many ways, and he will make the right family the perfect companion. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines including rabies, microchipped, and current on heartworm prevention. You must have a great vet reference to be consideredVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 17, 2024, 2:16 pm

Story
Meet Lil Miss This sweet girl has had a rough go. She was found by her owner on the road as hit by a car, scared, sad and lonely. She took her to the vet and with their help and her love, she nursed her back to health, and lil miss was finally happy. Sadly, her owner recently passed away, leaving lil miss, once again, sad and lonely. She is being cared after by a sweet friend of her owners in hopes to find her a home that will love her an adore her like she had been. She is kid friendly and dog friendly with a kind and loving disposition. She is a bit apprehensive when it comes to medical care and is somewhat nervous in that situation, but you can't blame her after all the hard things this loving girl has been through. If you have the heart to give, she would be willing to take it. All she needs is a loving home to see her through. Her adoption fee includes her being fully vetted, microchipped and she is available to you via ground transport.

Story
Meet Beauregard (aka Beau)- Get ready to be mesmerized by Beau’s beautiful blues! Beau is very sweet, friendly, and a complete goofball. He loves to lounge around and snuggle but is always ready to go out for a run. Beau is very friendly with dogs, new people, and children. He loves to go out for walks and has learned not to pull the leash. He is always down to go out for a ride and will stick his head out the window whenever possible. Beau is used to being around farm equipment and is ready to help. He may look intimidating, but the house cats always show him who's boss. "Beau" will make a great family pet who will give you years of love and loyalty. He is fully vetted and microchipped. He is available to be sent to you via ground transport.
