How about a “fun loving, playful, yet affectionate, eager to please, other dog loving, cat loving, child and adult loving” dog? All that and once over the Zoomies of meeting you, I do settle down. Well, “that’s me in a nut shell”! “I’m RIP!”, a 1 year old, about 80# boy that lives and plays daily with other dogs, can be acclimated to cats, love kids, adults and strangers, just seeming to be a “go with the flow” type of guy . Don’t get me wrong, I do have some training needs since I’m with a rescue in a kennel environment, but we Catahoula dogs are know to be very intelligent, fast learners and I am treat motivated. Needing daily exercise like walks, fetch and maybe frisbee, I do settle down, am a soft mouth boy when playing and dearly love my person. A fenced in yard is best, but not required. Known as a “Velcro Boy” at the rescue, once yours, my person time I do take to heart! LOVE ON ME PLEASE MOM/DAD! Connect for more info, I’m here waiting for my special person/people. “Rip” is ready to “Rock n Roll”, hike, ride, love and snore with you! DOB: 12/11/23  Pups are purebred Catahoula Leopards.  We have 5 (4 boys/1 girl).    They are spayed/neutered  and ready for homes.  All are very friendly with people and other dogs.   To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Story
Hey everyone! I’m Violet, a 1 year old 12/18/24 Catahoula Leopard dog who is a “HIP HOP gal with a Zest for Life” just needing some direction and Love! At about 70# of soft short fur, gorgeous sky blue eyes and a pink and black spotted nose. My disposition is gentle, loving but initially shy. I DO want to love and trust so badly. Once I do trust, (as I do my foster mom) I am your shadow, pardner and loving companion who gives "nose jobs", nuggies your hand and grabs  your sleeve in play as you pass bye (oh, so sweet when she does these things). I'm getting a LOT of socialization and exposure to the real world in my foster home, and guess what, I AM IMPROVING SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH! I got sent to “Doggie Boot Camp” for a crash course in doggie etiquette! Since moving in, I’ve been living and eating with “6” other doggies. They are teaching me the better things in life! “Go for Walks”, “Go for Rides”, “Play Catch Me if you Can”. “Frisbee” and TIME TO EAT! My palate has also been tempted with the likes of “Sweet Potatoes, Bananas, Animal Crackers, PEANUT BUTTER and Cool Whip”!!! I've been to PetSmart, Tractor Supply, Boiling Springs Lake and lots of other places. Each experience provides me opportunities to learn.  Still crated at night and during a work day, I do enjoy my time out/about with my “Furry Four-leggeds”. We do eat and take treats side by side, NO AGRESSION from ANY OF US!! I’ve become “ONE OF THE TROUPS!" Actually, mom walks “5” of us at one time! That’s how good the TROUPS stay in formation! For safety a fenced yard OR an underground fence is appropriate for me pending room to run /play in the yard. I'm a very smart/quick learning gal.  Having become a “Velcro Girl”, my foster mom is WHERE IT’S AT! But NOT WAY do I ever kiss her, my routine is to BUMP HER with my NOSE! Yes, Really!!! I give her a "NOSE JOB BUMB"! Note from the photo shots, I also helped Mom win a medal at Gulliver’s Run on 11/3/24. What a BLAST meeting other dogs, people and running the 5 K (3.1 mile) trail run that benefited dogs with cancer. Mom does NOT allow me to shy away, she pushes me into situations and that's the Key, NO SYMPATHY! Get out there and Learn by Experience. And, It's WORKING! I'm also taking Doggie Basic Classes for 7 weeks that started 2/23. Hoping to continue working on my shyness with people.  Foster mom says I’m a “Soft Soul” waiting to live my best life. Although a BIG pup, I’m try to be gentle, I'm not crazy wild, but lovingly calm, have a “Soft Touch Mouth” and my “Beautiful Sky Blue" eyes reflect my outer and inner beauty still working to come out! So, that’s my scoop. I’m Violet a beautiful young girl with a lifetime of love to give!  I'm ready and willing to be someone's BFF!  DOB: 12/11/23 Voilet is a purebred Catahoula Leopard who is  spayed   and ready for her forever home.  She is very friendly with people and other dogs.   To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Story
Our pets are fostered and physically located in Mt.Airy,NC until adopted. Once adopted we can transport to your location or one of our other north eastern delivery locations. This pup is a Catahoula mix. This pup was born 10-20-22. This pup will not be overly large. My educated guess is around 35-40 pounds at maturity. This pup is shy. She warms up. This pup is great with other dogs and cats. We have started crate training and potty training. Frances is spayed! I will consider a reduced adoption fee to the right home. This pup will be current on vaccines, deworming, preventives. This pup will be micro-chipped. This pup will receive a physical and a certificate of health prior to going home. The adopter will get all the health records with adoption. We require a prescreen application to adopt. You can get that on our website at www.saveamuttkennel.net

Story
Sawyer was saved from a high kill rescue only shelter in GA last year, this shelter is not open to the public so these dogs don't have much chance of getting out. I am the President of Dogingham Palace Rescue that is writing this bio for Sawyer. I fell in love with him when I meet him as he is stunning and so sweet. I was looking for a dog that I could walk/hike with, with my husband and his dog. Sawyer was so easy on the leash for me. Back in 2022 I fought stage 3 breast cancer and have some of my journey on facebook under Dogingham Palace Rescue. Rescue is what got me through a year of chemo, radiation and surgeries. I was wanting to get my strength back and lose the steroid weight and having a dog with you on a trail is way more fun than being alone. I have now found out that it has spread to my lungs and through no fault of Sawyer I want to find him a wonderful new home. He needs more than I can give him with knowing I have another fight on my hands. He deserves to be in a home that can give him what I can't. When we would go out on trails if he heard children he got so excited. So would be good for a family or single person. He loves to play with dogs in my house. Mainly plays with 2 other dogs his size but also loves to play with one of my 10 lbs Chihuahua too. I do not have cats but I don't think he would be a problem for one. He is pretty much house trained, but does still have an accident here and there. He sleeps in a dog bed right next to my bed. I do crate him when I am not home as he is still very much puppy. He does also like to counter surf and we have lost a few steaks and other meals to him...lol. He is very food motivated. I think he was just left outside the whole time till I got him. He loves to play and also loves to come in and chill on the couch or by my side. Sorry the pictures are not great, he wants to move when I try to get pictures. He is definitely a dog that turns heads and everyone who sees him always asks what kind of dog he is. If you are interested in this handsome fellow please email us at Doginghamrescue@aol.com so we can send you an application. We are based in the Nashville, TN area and have most of our dogs transported up north. The $500 includes the adoption and transport fee (will have a health certificate too). The transport fee ($250) is not refundable if things do not work out.

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Scrappy is looking for a home! Please share! Scrappy was abandoned, left in a house without food or water. Thankfully a young man took him in but then moved out, leaving Scrappy with his grandmother. She’s been taking care of him, but she didn’t sign up to have him, and isn’t in the position to keep him. He is a smart boy and learns quickly. He would like to be a lap dog! He is about 2 years old and about 60lbs. He is house trained but will mark in the house because he is not yet neutered. He is young and playful. He has some separation anxiety but that may lessen with more exercise and more playtime. He currently lives with another dog and being with the other dog seems to really help with the separation anxiety. He is a counter surfer and constantly looking for food.He needs to be taught to walk on a leash and be socialized. This dog has so much potential!! Please consider him. In New England  To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
