Hi! I'm Roxi! I'm an approximately 5 year old, female, Catahoula mix, who weighs around 66 Lbs. I was surrendered by my owners on 09/17/2024 because they were moving and could not take me. I am very excited to meet new people! I am a higher energy dog that would benefit from an active person for family. I am always ready for a new adventure! I love belly rubs and a good back scratch. I do enjoy chasing a tennis ball around. Treats work well when trying to teach me new tricks. I do best with dogs my size or bigger. I am not recommend with cats. I love kids! If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. I have been searching for my furever home for 179 days as of 03/15/2025 and am now considered a Diamond Dog! My adoption fee is $75. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, basic boosters, and heartworm negative. All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. We got Violet from an acquaintance of a friend whose dogs had a litter of puppies. We drove up to Oklahoma to bring her home. Now 3 years old, we've raised her from a puppy to a young adult—she has tons of energy! She’d do best in a household that can give her plenty of space to run or provide the exercise she needs. For the past three years, she’s lived with two other dogs, but we recommend she be the only pet in her new home. She resource guards toys and has recently become protective of my pregnant wife. While she’s incredibly loyal, it’s best to keep her away from other dogs when toys are involved. Her adopter will receive her kennel, bed, toys, and blanket—everything needed to help her settle in comfortably.

GUEST DOG Maggie was abandoned at a mobile home park in west Dallas. Alone, afraid, and pregnant, she was hiding under various mobile homes. Cathy, an angel to the strays in that area, managed to catch her and get her in to the vet. Maggie was spayed and after recovering, needs a place to call her own. Maggie prefers male dogs and would also do well in a home by herself. She is affectionate and loves to run! She would love to have a big yard to play in too! Maggie is current on her vaccinations and is heartworm negative. Please consider giving Maggie a home. She has a lot of love to give.
