Meet Pablo – Mighty Pup with a Big Dog Heart
Pablo may be small, but he carries himself like a big dog in a tiny body! From the moment he arrived, he strutted in like he owned the place—completely unfazed by the larger resident dogs and even the house cats. His favorite activity? Non-stop WrestleMania with the resident shepherd/lab mix.
Like most puppies, Pablo is all about toys—especially the ones that squeak! Chew toys are a must to keep him stimulated and out of trouble (those puppy teeth are curious!). He’s already comfortable wearing a harness and walks well on a leash, though we could see him being a runner if not properly leashed—he just loves being outside!
Pablo is a total extrovert. He’s never met a human he didn’t immediately assume was there to play with him, regardless of age. As for cuddles, they’re on his terms, but he’s a fan of napping wherever the sun shines in or curling up on a cozy pet bed.
He’s still got that puppy energy, which sometimes results in adorable chaos—like forgetting the last stair exists and flying off it with gusto. He’s making good progress on potty training but still needs frequent outdoor breaks.
Pablo’s eating habits are more grazer than gobbler, with a mix of wet and dry food. If he’s not into it, he’ll casually walk away—or play with it instead. He’s also a quiet little guy, only using his bark to alert you to strange noises, and he settles well in his crate at night after a tiny whimper or two.
Pablo has been an absolute joy to foster. He’ll fit right into any home that is ready to embrace his puppy power and give him the love he deserves. One thing’s for sure—he’ll be more than excited to meet his forever family and love them endlessly.
Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.
The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online forms here as well.
