Story
My name is Vegas, and I’m here at SPARC, hoping to find my lucky charm—a loving family to call my own! My previous family, with heavy hearts, had to bring me here, but I just know my perfect match is out there, waiting to scoop me up and spoil me rotten!I’m an extra-sweet, super-snuggly, and ridiculously lovable girl who absolutely adores leisurely strolls, playful zoomies, and top-tier couch cuddles. If you’re looking for a best friend who will shower you with kisses, steal your heart, and keep your lap warm, I’m your girl! Now, I must admit, I do prefer to be the one and only furry royalty in your home. It’s not that I don’t like other pups, but I simply love soaking up every ounce of attention from my favorite humans! So maybe you and I are meant to be! Swing by SPARC and let’s make some magic happen! XOXO, Vegas ???

Story
Hey there! My name is Spur, and I’m a wonderfully charming 5-year-old Labrador Retriever mix. As a proud and affectionate boy, I absolutely adore going on walks, where I effortlessly maintain an incredibly calm and remarkably steady demeanor. I stroll gracefully and attentively, making me an absolute pleasure to have by your side. My naturally relaxed nature, paired with my exceptionally good leash manners, ensures that every walk is an utterly peaceful and thoroughly enjoyable experience. However, let’s get one thing straight—I most definitely do not do cats. No way, no how.If you’re searching for an amazingly calm, deeply loyal, and completely dependable companion to welcome into your family, then look no further! I’m beyond excited to meet you and can’t wait to become your new best friend!

Story
Oakley came to us from Oklahoma where she had been raised to be a duck hunting partner. Her happy-go-lucky energy was not right for that situation, so she went to a foster home who introduced her to toys for the first time. Her response? ‘THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER!’ and she’s never stopped enjoying herself since. In fact, she loves so many things about life, that she decided she really doesn’t want to be a search dog either...she would rather do other things like...hike, run, play with other dogs, explore her environment, bop you in the nose, etc. She is a kind-hearted and sweet girl, but she does like to be busy! Staff describe her as bouncy, quirky, fun, silly and high octane! She absolutely loves our playgroup when she can be with another dog and might really enjoy a home with another canine companion. She is affectionate with the people she knows (but pay attention for the nose bop!) She enjoys being read to by Kennel Buddies – she listens intently as our volunteers read aloud to her. She’s got spring and bounce and is athletic and trim – she might like to try a dog sport or two. She definitely would like a partner who is active and can play, run, hike, hang with her. She has a kind heart and sweet nature but that sometimes get overshadowed by her bouncy girl antics. She has an off switch, but that can easily be turned the other way when she sees someone she likes or notices the potential for having fun!
