Calling all Big Dog Fans! This big, boisterous, bouncy boy is aptly named, Goofy! He is a lab mixed with hound (you can see the hound in his eyes and expressions) and he is one tall drink of water. This young fellow likes people, dogs and playing ball and isn't afraid to show it. His exuberance could use some tempering, as he is a very young dog who has not had a lot of training (yet) so he is learning manners probably for the first time in his life. If you are a big dog person, you understand what this means already--when a toy poodle jumps on you or pulls on a leash, that's one thing... Goofy came to us via Helping Hands Humane Society in Topeka, Kansas. He had been found wandering as a stray in a very rural area. Helping Hands recognized his potential as a working dog right away and contacted us. We snapped him up and brought him to our campus in California, but alas, his toy drive was a little less intense than what we need for the Urban Search and Rescue training that we do. All that means is, lucky you! Goofy has the potential to be a wonderful partner. Active, energetic, funny, and playful and wrapped in a show-stopping handsome package to boot. Meet Goofy! If you know, love and understand the needs of a young big dog with a zest for life who is looking for some guidance in the world to be the perfect dog, you need look no further. Goofy is standing tall and at the ready.

Long, lanky, silly, funny, fun, sensitive AND smart--that's our Teddy! This young pup has a zest for life and a spunky energetic demeanor. He loves to be outside, loves to play and he loves to run! If dogs were race horses...or vice versa... He came to us all the way from New York where he had been raised in a family home until they realized they could not provide proper outlets for his energy nor give him the attention that he craved. So now we are on the search for someone who can appreciate his enthusiasm for life and his playful nature. The sweet thing about Teddy is, he is a bonder. It might take him a minute while in the meantime, THE WORLD IS OUT THERE GRABBING HIS ATTENTION. He has a confident and independent side, but as his relationship grows with a person, so does he. If you are a handler or partner who likes working/being in relationship with your dog, Teddy could be a phenomenal match. Teddy is still quite young and not completely aware of where his body is in space, so if he gets the zoomies, you might watch out! This is just one more enticing thing about him, though. He is still so moldable and with the right person who knows how to guide and channel his zests, watch out world! This kid is going to be amazing some day. He already kinda is, but he is the kind of pup who will just get better and better as he matures, learns and trusts more, most likely earning the title of: BEST DOG I EVER HAD!
