Story
Hi I’m Sallie Brown and I would love to meet you! I am a little older (10 years) than some of the other girls around here, but I am still very active and love walks and car rides. I have a nice slim body (45 pounds) and great legs for walking. I’m also better trained than some of the other younger ones. I am house and crate trained and have good manners so you won’t need to worry about potty training with me. I would like to spend my days in a quiet home free of children, so I can enjoy time with adults who appreciate the quietness of life.  I have a sharp mind and enjoy mental stimulation. I enjoy walking alone or with another well-behaved dog I can be friends with, but I do like my personal space in a home. As I have matured, I have found that I like structure & consistency a lot. Therefore, I don’t want to share space with other little ones who don’t share my need for a quiet, settled lifestyle. If you enjoy the quieter side of life with daily walks and some brain exercises, then I think we could be a great match. Story
Mustang loves people. He cannot get enough attention from everyone. He is the definition of a velcro dog. He is always ready to go on a car ride and if you’re not careful, will jump in someone else’s car. He is particularly fond of pick-up trucks. If a car is involved, he is always thinking “Where are WE going?”   Mustang loves toys, chews, and balls. Soft toys will be gutted within 2 minutes, but he will love those 2 minutes and continue to play with the toy. He enjoys running around by himself or with other dogs, chasing balls and not bringing them back and has the energy and good nature of a lab.   Mustang is a happy-go-lucky boy, and he will do well with doggy siblings his size or not too much smaller, or he can be a solo doggo. He is a bit unaware of his size (70lbs). He will not do well living with a cat. He does have barrier reactivity to other reactive dogs, that needs to be worked through. He is highly food motivated, so training with consistency will be very successful.    He loves blankets! It is not uncommon to see him joyously wriggling around with a blanket he wrapped himself in, or walking around with a blanket over his head. Blankets are his Disney World!   He has a great appetite and has no issues with any foods or treats. He is very healthy and does not have a history of any medical issues.    He is easy to love, low maintenance, and Mustang has a huge heart. He knows the secret to life is to love and be loved.     For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online at http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue. *Some of our animals receive a high volume of applications, and we strive to select the best home for each animal. Story
Brodie is a 4 year old purebred chocolate lab from South Georgia. He has strong hunting bloodlines, but has not been used as a hunting dog. He absolutely loves playing and retrieving but needs work on the letting go part. He is a good boy who needs a good amount of exercise. He gets along with other dogs at dog parks, and lives with two other dogs currently, but is food aggressive. He is playful aggressive when walking past other dogs sometimes, and tries to lunge at them. Since we just moved from a house to apartment, to a townhouse, we don’t have a yard or private space for him and can only walk him on busy sidewalks which makes this hard for both of us. What we think he needs in a new home would be a backyard for him to run around, and to be in a single dog household. A strong owner who can walk and command him would be required. He needs some training because he is reactive towards other dogs sometimes but he’s a very sweet loving dog.
