Story
Hi there!
My name is Rio, and I’m part of the Travel Litter. There were 10 of us, and now only 2 are left looking for our forever homes!
We were surrendered to a kill shelter in Georgia as an unwanted litter, but thankfully, we made the journey up with Mutt Life Dog Rescue on 1/10/25 and are now safe in Wisconsin. I’m a super friendly, smart, and playful pup with loads of cuteness to share! I look like a yellow lab mix, and I have a little bend at the tip of my tail, just like one of my brothers – the vet thinks we were born with it!
I’m currently being fostered on a 100-acre farm, and I get along wonderfully with all the animals here—chickens, big dogs, puppies, cats—you name it, I’m good with it! I am a barn and chore supervisor in training and would do great on a farm, or in a regular home- either way, I have had lots of desensitizing!
I am off leash and love to play with the other dogs here. I also love toys and bones and cuddling on the couch with my humans!
If you’re looking for a friendly and playful pup to add to your family, I could be the perfect fit!
