Story
Peter Brady is the last remaining here of the 6 Brady siblings. 14 lbs. Born early 2023. Red and white. He can be very shy and scared with strangers (especially men), but he likes people, and once comfortable with someone he is ok with being picked up and petted. Treats and playtime are the way to his heart! He will likely need leashtraining. He's done extremely well in our house and is excellent with other dogs. He may do best in a home where he has a confident dog to learn from and play with. He and his siblings came to us from our Tijuana rescue partner. The others, now adopted, were Greg, Marcia, Jan, Bobby, and Cindy. He is neutered and has his shots- he is ready for his new home! You may make an appointment to see him by emailing us at beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com and also sending an application found on our website, beaglesandbuddies.com, under the "Adopt a dog" tab.*Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Please allow us up to a week to get back to you. Most appointments will be Friday-Sunday, 10 am - 2 pm, for an hour. *Note bring any other dog/s and the entire family to your meet and greet at B&B.* A complimentary training manual is included with each adoption, authored by terristeuben.com. Check out her website - she is fabulous! B&B is glad to be open during the pandemic. We know the value and comfort of a loving pet companion and are doing our best to help the dogs and folks who need them. We update our website daily and are always rescuing, vetting, rehabilitating, socializing. &#226&#128&#139 Are you my furrever family? For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section, which has thorough instructions.  All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and  fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.   Our prices are higher than the shelters' because we nurse the dogs through their illnesses and get them needed surgeries and dentals. We also spend time socializing. Furthermore, unlike shelters, rescues do not get financial aid from the government and must rely on donations, grants, and adoption fees. Our fees for adults start at $150 and usually go up to $750. Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. You can think of it as donating to a worthy cause and getting a dog in return!  Sponsor Me Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs. Your tax-deductible donation keeps our rescue kennel operating!  Hours Friday:  10 am to 3 pm Saturday:  10 am to 3 pm Sunday: 10 am to 3 pm Monday: CLOSED Tuesday: CLOSED Wednesday: CLOSED Thursday: CLOSED &#226&#128&#139 Weekday appointments may be available.  We are a small staff and do our best to accommodate your needs. **Note that during COVID, we are not holding open houses on any day. Story
Clementine is a tiny chihuahua girl, @7 lbs and looks about 7-8 years old. She is extremely friendly to people and bonds quickly. Obedient and well behaved. She's mingled well with our other small dogs in the house.  She was found as a stray - in heat - we put a stop to that. Little bundle of love - watch her video!  She joined family who adopted Andy - both much loved.  AND, we are expecting a similar female very soon.  She'll be posted in early 2025!*Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Squeaks, the charming two and a half year old chihuahua with a heart as big as his frame. This little 14 pound canine companion may appear somewhat apprehensive at first, but don't let that fool you - he has a knack for warming up to people faster than you can say "treat." Squeaks may be small in size, but his personality is anything but. He carries himself with an air of curiosity, always eager to explore new surroundings and meet new faces. His expressive almond-shaped eyes seem to hold a world of wonder, as if he's constantly observing and analyzing the world around him. Initially, Squeaks may approach strangers with a hint of caution, taking a moment to assess the situation before fully immersing himself in the social scene. However, once he determines that he's in good company, it's as if a switch flips, and he transforms into a social butterfly. With a wagging tail and a bounce in his step, Squeaks will swiftly win over even the most skeptical hearts. His warm and affectionate nature shines through as he eagerly seeks cuddles, belly rubs, and moments of shared joy. Squeaks is a firm believer in the power of love and connection, and he is always ready to forge new bonds and make friends wherever he goes. Although Squeaks may have a tendency to be wary at first, he is a quick learner and adapts easily to new environments. With a little patience and understanding, he will eagerly embrace new experiences and become an integral part of any loving family. Squeaks is dog selective and therefore would do best as the only dog in his forever home. Trust us when we tell you, he has plenty of love to give! Beneath Squeaks small exterior lies a spirited and loving soul, ready to bring boundless joy and companionship to anyone lucky enough to be part of his world. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. At Our Underdog Rescue Squad our goal is to find the amazing dogs who come into our rescue the most amazing homes. Wynnona was found as a stray roaming the streets, hungry and so very skinny. She was with an older chihuahua who we named Naomi. This Judd duo will melt your heart, individually or together. Wynnona is the younger of the two and is a bit more outspoken when she meets you. She may bark a bit and act as if she doesn’t want to know you but the peripheral circling with the wagging tail gives it away every time. She is still a shy gal who will take a bit of time to win over and get to know. I’d say it’s 10000 percent worth any effort. She is a lovely pup who is happy to be playing but also equally as happy to be receiving attention. We love these diamonds in the rough. They are the ones who reveal the souls that shine so brightly. Wynnona is about a year and a half and weighs a bit over 8 pounds. If you are interested in adopting Wynnona, please fill out our application here.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 12:22 am

She's eager to leave her past behind and start a new chapter filled with love, warmth, and endless belly rubs. This petite chihuahua may be small in size, but her personality is larger than life. Once she trusts you, she will shower you with kisses and curl up in your lap, transforming into the biggest cuddle bug you've ever seen. She's a loyal and devoted companion who will be by your side through thick and thin.
