Shiloh is a 13 year old chihuahua, he loves to rest in his cage and interact with other small dogs. He is potty trained . He will vocalize when he needs to potty outside and thirty or hungry He gets along well with small dogs Is afraid of big dogs. Does well with kids as long as he isn’t treated like a toy! He enjoys snacks For the most part he is super calm. He will open up to people who are kind and GENTEL with him. He is anxious when meeting new people but all he needs is reassurance. Doesn’t like to be taunted or messed with he is sensitive. Iv had Shiloh since he was 4 months old as my support animal . I’m really hoping to find him a loving and gentle home .

BUSTER comes from a semi-hoarding situation where he spent his entire life from birth in a tiny pet carrier along with his siblings. He has come a long way with socialization and would flourish with the right guardian. He would love to be a lap-dog and also enjoys exploring outside. (Also from the same situation: CHEWY) They are very affectionate and would just like a place to call home and a Person to call family. Since these boys have had to "fight" for lap-space and attention, they have a tendency to mark territory which should die down after they are neutered (part of adoption contract). They are used to using potty pads and have learned to also go outside, but they will all still need some work with potty training. Once they are neutered and have a lap of their own that they don't have to "defend", potty training should be a cinch. This crew also would work really well in a FOSTER home that can give them more socialization, potty training, and household manners such as barking. Very friendly with all ages of family,

Mr. Louie was born around 12/2022 and is a cute little Long-Haired Chihuahua.  He only weighs 8 pounds, very portable!  Louie is a shy guy and takes time to warm up.  Once he warms up we believe he will be such a good boy.  He lived with his previous owners in a home since he was born, but owners had too many dogs to care for, so we are helping find a new place for Louie to live.  He is an excellent playmate if you have another small dog or dogs that are looking for a buddy.  He has not lived with a cat, so not sure what his reaction would be.  We are told that Louie is extremely athletic and fast when he runs, so he would really enjoy living somewhere where he can have fun and play.  We have given Louie his shots, microchipped, and neutered him. $250.00 adoption helps with the cost of care given to him here at the shelter.
