Zigby was found with a broken pelvis, likely from being hit by a car. He was then taken to the shelter and placed on the euthanasia list after serving the stray hold. We had a willing foster and were able to save Zigby just in the nick of time! After a hefty surgery, long recovery process, and some TLC, Zigby is now able to walk and use the restroom with no pain at all. He is currently taking joint supplements as a precautionary measure to help with any arthritis in the future. Zigby is 1.5 years old, fully vaccinated and fixed. He has mastered potty training and is crate trained. He does well with cats and prefers female dogs as companions. He's a cuddler and loves to snuggle in bed! Zigby is a goofball, he'll spin around and do the "food dance" when it's feeding time. Minnie is a 5 pound, 5-month-old pup who had a rough start to life. Her and her two littermates were found in a park when they were about 2 weeks old, with mom dog doing her best to keep them safe. The whole family was rescued from the shelter and have been learning, growing, and playing with a foster. Minnie may be the runt of the litter, but this girl is a firecracker! She loves to run zoomies in the backyard until she'll find a stick to chew on in the shade. Minnie is very dog-friendly, she gets along with pups her size all the way to 65-pound large dogs (as long as they're gentle). She has mastered using pee pads in the house when roaming and is crate trained, where she sleeps quietly through the night. When she's not playing, she loves to snuggle on your chest and take a nap. Ollie is a little shy, but he will follow his sister around. He will sit in your lap and sleep for hours. Ollie loves stuffies and carries them all over the house and outside. There they slept under trailers and survived on food left by guests. They are completed bonded sleeping and eating together. If possible, they would like to be adopted together. Romy is a sweet little dog who just wants love. She can be a little shy and may take a little time for her to warm up to you. Once she gains your trust she will want all your attention jumping into your lap every chance she gets for kisses. She is crate trained, can use a doggie door & gets along well with other small dogs. Does better with adults and older children. She is especially bonded with Roxy. Roxy is also very sweet but can be timid & skiddish at times. She loves to play with toys and can be mischievous grabbing small items to chew on so caution must be taken not to leave valuable items in her reach. She will let other dogs know not to get in her space by snapping. She is crate trained, can use a doggie door, gets along with other small dogs and loves chasing her sister Romy & rough playing.
