Story
BEANS UPDATE!!! Mr. Beans had surgery and his cherry eye has been removed!!! His beautiful face is full of expression so check out this wonderful little man. He is low energy and enjoys laying in his bed having treats. Mr. Beans gets along with other dogs and cats. If and when he chooses to bark he has a low raspy sound that is so cute!! Beans is a senior (8 + years old) male chihuahua mix that weighs approximately 17 pounds. This little fellow is full of life and has a swagger to his step. He has a peaches and cream colored coat and loves to be out and about sniffing the grass, rolling around for some belly rubs and back scratches. Beans has a Cherry Eye on his right eye which causes people to take a second look but it doesn't bother him a bit. Beans knows he has a heart of gold, sweet little face and continues to wag his tail even if someone stares at him a little too long. The cherry eye will be removed when Beans is neutered in the next few weeks. Beans loves a soft treat and a human to show him some kindness and affection. Beans is seeking out a quiet home where he could relax and enjoy the sunshine from a comfy dog bed, look out a window at the activity outside and enjoy some much needed human care. Beans deserves a chance to feel safe, be loved and pampered so that he can enjoy his retirement life.

Story
BUTTERMILK This creamy sweet bundle of goodness is a chihuahua mix, around ten years of age who weighs approximately 17 pounds. Buttermilk does well on a leash but goes at a slow pace. He is a senior but he has some pep in his step so don't let him fool you. He has wonderful disposition and his tail is always wagging. Buttermilk loves soft treats and is seeking out a soft dog bed next to his human. Buttermilk is in need of a quiet place to rest his head and relax during the day. The wonderful employees at the Campbell County Animal Shelter are helping Buttermilk's coat return to a healthy, full, soft and lush quality. He is a very loving little guy who gets along with cats, kids and his shelter dog mates. Buttermilk is a win for a person looking for a companion who works remotely, is retired or interested in a low energy television watching partner. Please come and visit Buttermilk and meet him in person!
