Bowie is one of those mystery boys that was found running for his life in a commercial business area in the hot July heat.  He was skittish and it took days for him to trust someone to pet and feed him.  He is just a young year old, 10 pound boy that is thought to be a Chihuahua mix and a wonderful little guy.  His temperament is just the best ever and he loves to go for rides in the car and to snuggle with you.  He still has some “runner” in him and so for a while until he is  imprinted, you need to be careful at the doorways.  He always has a smile and he needs lots of snuggles.  He will love him!!!   Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 13, 2024, 1:29 pm

Rusty is a handsome petite little 10 lb 1-year-old Chihuahua mix that was taken from an abusive family using a 2x4 to correct him when he was not doing what they wanted. All he was doing was trying to get attention for some love and affection that they did not have to give him. So he was punished in a physical and abusive way. Despite all of this this little guy bounce back with expectations from the foster mom who rescued him. His expectations were for her to love him like he had never been loved before and that is what he has been getting. This little guy is housebroken friendly with other dogs and cats as well. He is demonstrating a little bit of a back-end sway that we've had x-rayed and his spinal L2 has a slight deformity and has created this special little walk. Seems that he was born with this slight deformity.  It doesn't stop him from being active or in any pain. This little guy needs a home to call his own and we suggest that he not be crated for 9 hours since he will protest loudly. He's great on walks and running around with other bigger dogs to play with. We got a call from our local animal control that a woman had brought in her Chihuahua who was pregnant and having difficulty giving birth. She had already had 2 still born pups and 2 live pups but one was stuck in the birth canal. We rushed to get her and brought her into our vet immediately. Our vet was able to get the last baby out without surgery but unfortunately he was already gone. So we have 2 healthy babies and they are now ready for their forever home. The mama is 100% Chihuahua but we have no idea who the daddy is. They are both spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. They will be ready for transport at the end of July. PLEASE NOTE THATWE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL OT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE $700

My name is Lil Crackle Man and I am what you call “cuter than a bug” and I honestly have to agree.   Everyone raves when they see me and my siblings.  There were eight of us born to a really special momma named Gina.  We are called Chiweenie puppies, like our momma.  I was born April Fool’s Day and by July 12th, I will be ready  for that perfect home that wants a little boy like me to make their life so much more fun and perfect!  My foster mom honestly does mostly adult small dog fostering, but she is really on an adventure right now with me and some of my siblings.  She says I am so very affectionate and sweet and that napping is my favorite thing to do.  But when I am awake I am zooming all over her apartment and doing some of the funniest puppy things that make her laugh.  I am good at hitting the potty pads  most of the time and I know how to go outside too.  I am a “talker” according to my foster mom, Miss Lisa.  She says I have the cutest voice and I use it with her and when I am playing with my siblings.  I probably won’t be much bigger than 15-20 pounds when fully grown.  If you want to invite me to be a part of your family and home, then write to Critter Cavalry right away.  Email them at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   I am ready to go before you know it!
