Anndalina 10 YEARS OLD. Chi mix. black with white, no kids, no cats, okay with some dogs, basics of potty training. Needs fenced in yard and no apartments. Anndalina came to us as an emergency surrender. This poor girl was trying to chew her tail off and needed emergency treatment. We rushed her into our vet and it was determined her tail would need to be amputated to prevent any infection from spreading. We whisked her into surgery and brought her back to one of our foster homes. Anndalina has had a rough beginning to her life and she will need a patient and understanding home to help her become the dog we know she can be. We would recommend she go to a child free home and a home where her Chihuahua bark will not be a problem. A nice quiet couple or single person would be the ideal place for her as she can become overwhelmed with too many visitors. Once she bonds to her people she is very affectionate but it will take a while for this nervous girl to settle into any new home and she will need to be given time to calm and adjust.Please note we do not have a central kennel facility, all of our pets are located in foster homes. The first step in meeting one of our furry friends is to fill out an application on our website at <a href='www.rainbowrescues.org'>www.rainbowrescues.org</a>. BLANCHE6 year old female chihuahua good with cats, can be god with dogs after introductions, basics of Pottey training.this little girl is an active young lady but does love snuggling also. She does have a heart murmur and is on medication for her heart. She is bossy so meeting new dogs she can be sassy. She loves to snuggle under her covers. Story
I adopted Dakota from a rescue located in Alabama, he was transported to me. The rescue indicated that Dakota is fine with cats and that he "ignores" them. Not true at all. Dakota is constantly growling and barking at my cats and on more than one occasion, has lunged at them. While there was no actual fighting, I cannot keep him and allow my cats to be tormented. I have a very small 1 bedroom apartment and I have no way to separate them from one another. Aside from this, Dakota is a very sweet boy. He's crate trained...he LOVES his crate and spends most of his time in there. I leave the door to the crate open all day long, but he chooses to spend his time in there. He sleeps quietly through the night and is house broken.

Hello! We are bonded sister and brother duo Teddy and Rosie, looking for a home to live out our golden years. We can be a tad nervous meeting new people but with time, patience, and especially cookies, we will become fast friends! Some of our favorite activities include hanging out with our human friends, going on walks, romping around the pen, and eating all the cookies! We have lived with kids before and could potentially live with them again, and even cats! But no other dogs please. We are mostly house trained but do have accidents every once in a while.
