Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $250 if picked up in TN, $325 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Introducing Holmes! At just 15 pounds and 3 months old, Holmes is a tiny but mighty possible Chihuahua-German Shepherd mix. He is a little bundle of energy with a big personality! This playful pup loves to run, wrestle, and chew on just about anything he can find—but after all the fun, he’s the ultimate cuddle bug. Once Holmes is worn out, he’ll happily snuggle up under your neck for a nap or roll over for some belly rubs. Holmes is still learning the ropes when it comes to training, house manners, and leash walking, but he’s eager to explore and soak up new experiences. He sleeps well in his crate at night and during the day when his humans are away—though he’s been known to sneak off to the crate with a shoe or two for a little unsupervised playtime! Holmes absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with playful, patient canine siblings who don’t mind a little puppy mischief. He’s still getting used to car rides and new adventures, but he’s making great progress. In fact, he’s about to go on his first camping trip, where he’ll work on his training while enjoying the great outdoors! This fun-loving pup is looking for an active home that will help him grow into the best dog he can be. If you have a playful pack or are ready to give him lots of love, patience, and belly rubs, Holmes just might be the perfect addition to your family! Interested in adopting? Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. March 14, 2025, 7:43 pm
