Sweetness got her name because when she loves you she loves you with her whole heart. When I hold her she presses into me and looks up with so much love. She was rescued, along with two others, by SusieQ from a hoarding case. All three dogs from there are not dog friendly but love their people which makes me think she had to fight for everything she got. When Sweetness was rescued she was bone thin, missing most of her fur and had a damaged, infected eye. Since then she has been fully vetted, spayed and had her eye removed. I love this dog so much and only want the best for her. I would keep her for my own but with all the dogs coming and going she is getting more and more stressed. She is afraid of my husband so I think she would make a wonderful ladies companion. Sweetness uses puppy pads but will also go out with me in the fenced in yard to go potty. I have not tried leash walking her. She had a dental last week so her teeth are bright and shiny. She loves to sleep in bed with me and cuddle under the covers. With a little patience and love you will have a life long companion. Her adoption fee is $250. He adores his humans and will try and heard them if they are going in the wrong direction so no children in his next home. Once Benny trusts you he is putty in your hands and just the sweetest boy! Benny rides well in the car and walks fine on a leash. Benny also enjoys kayaking and just about anything that involves his humans. Henry was born around May 24, 2012 and weighs about 10 pounds. Henry is with us because his owner needed to go into assisted living. We were told that the previous owner was a heavy drinker and smoked cigarettes one after another all day. If this is true we wonder how Henrys lungs will do as he continues to age. Right now Henry is living his best life loving clean indoor air and the outdoors and investigating everything he can. When he's sure all the days smells have been properly investigated, he's ready to curl up and observe his surroundings next to his favorite humans on the couch. We feel his hearing and sight are not the best but then again he is supposed to be 12 years old. Henry has been great with the other dogs here but has no interest in playing with them and rambunctious youngsters get a stern talking to if they disturb his peace. Henry loves his people but we would not put him in a home with young humans as sometimes his Chihuahua comes out if you ask him to do something he would rather not....did we mention he was 12? Henry has some lumps and bumps but at his age we won't be getting them tested. We will be evaluating him for a dental soon but at first glimpse, his teeth look shockingly good. So this is Henry and he makes us laugh and we are so glad we will be able to help him find his happily ever after. The Adoption Fee for this dog is $300.00 Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability.
