He is a 7yr old chihuahua. Roscoe is the sweetest, spunkiest little companion dog. He loves being with his person and would really like it if you never had to leave the house without him if that's OK with you. He'll claim your lap and then your heart. Roscoe loves to snuggle, is very smart and easily trainable. He's mostly potty trained but because he came from a hoarder house, he sometimes needs reminding that the potty is outside. Roscoe is shy with strangers especially men and will need some time and patience to warm up to you He gets along great with all dogs, cats, and people. He will do best with a home with other dogs and has a brother if you're interested. He's not a fan of bugs though and will make it his mission to catch them. Ginger was within hours of euthenasia when a PAR volunteer spotted her at an area shelter. She was curled up in the back corner of her pen and looked scared. Shelter employees explained that she had been caught in a trap and that she had not allowed shelter employees close to her. The PAR volunteer was easily able to pick her up and she just burrowed into his chest. Ginger is doing very well in her foster home. She is a very sweet dog who is good with other dogs. A shelter environment was very scary for this little girl. The perfect home for Ginger would be a quiet home where the humans will be kind and patient while she learns that she is safe.
