Story

Tank is 10 years old with no health concerns. He has been the only pet since I got him as a puppy so I am unsure if he would be ok around other pets. He does not do well with children which is the reason for needing to find him a new good home. He is an anxious dog and is used to a quiet home to relax in. He will be best suited with someone who will make sure Tank knows you are the alpha as he has an attitude when feeling anxious. He is a typical chihuahua who gets attached to his owner and will follow you around, take long naps, and beg for all the snacks. He’s a great dog with a quirky personality.

Ricky is still working on his house training, but he’s making great progress with consistency and patience. He gets along well with other dogs and would love a home with a canine friend or a family willing to give him lots of companionship. While Ricky isn’t the biggest fan of his crate just yet, we’re working with him to help him feel more comfortable. He does have a bit of separation anxiety, so he would do best in a home where he isn’t left alone for long periods or with someone willing to help him build confidence. Despite this, Ricky is a wonderful companion who thrives on love and attention. One of Ricky’s favorite things is going for walks—he walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys exploring the world at a relaxed pace. Whether it’s a stroll around the neighborhood or a cuddle session on the couch, Ricky is happiest when he’s with his people. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal, and affectionate pup to join your family, Ricky might just be the perfect match! Could you be the loving home he’s been waiting for? The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Hi there, it’s your boy Carlos. I’m a friendly little 9lb, 5-year-old Chihuahua mix who is full of personality. I’m eager to meet new people, and I’d love to join you for a car ride or some cuddles on the couch. I am almost fully house trained. I will potty outside consistently but I'm not good at letting anyone know that I need to go. I am crate trained and keep it clean. And I’m easy to walk on a leash, too. I’m in a foster home with young children. I do like them however sometimes I'm "on guard" around them if the kids are too loud or super energetic. I get along with other dogs, but would prefer a home with no cats. Overall, I’m a smart little fella who is looking for someone to love furever! Fill out an application to meet me ASAP! All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the location as it is a privately run boarding, training, and grooming facility. Macadamia is a 1 ½-year-old Chihuahua with a big personality packed into a tiny frame! This sweet and affectionate little pup bonds quickly with her person and loves to be by your side—literally. This spunky and active pup is always on the move—until you sit down, and then she’s ready to settle in for snuggles. She absolutely loves toys, enjoys playing fetch, and is a fan of chewing on bones and antlers. She’s also very food-motivated, which makes training a breeze! She’s already working on commands and has almost mastered `sit.`Macadamia does well in a crate when left alone, but she’s still working on housebreaking. Right now, she’s pee pad trained and isn’t a fan of going outside—especially in cold weather! As the temperatures rise, we think she’ll get more comfortable exploring the outdoors. She would do best in a home with a submissive and tolerant small dog companion, as she has a dominant streak and isn’t afraid to take on bigger dogs. She can also be a little protective of her person, so continued training and correction will be important. Because of her tendency to be underfoot and guard her person, Macadamia requires an adult only home. Macadamia is still learning about the world, including how to walk on a leash and how to settle in the car—a crate or seatbelt harness is recommended for car rides. She’s a little dog with a big heart and an even bigger personality, looking for a patient and loving family to help her continue growing into the best version of herself.
