We do have a 7 day foster-to-adopt program so that you can see how the dog interacts with your cats before adoption.

This little pretty has not had an easy go of it, as she spent many days in emergency care for Parvo and then some (over $8,000 in vet bills!) Pretty Girl is healthy now and making up for lost time. She is a petite princess and can sometimes be bossy with other dogs. She has had some exposure to cats in her current foster home. The cats there do not put up with dog nonsense. She is ready to have all your attention to herself. She can be a little timid and unsure so she will need to have your heart and your time. Because of her rough past, she can be a flight risk. She will need a physical 3 foot fenced yard that she cannot escape from and since she is so tiny, their can't be any spaces she will fit through. Pretty Girl is still working on leash training so a secured area will be the safest place to get her used to her new family and a leash. Just be patient with her and you won’t be disappointed. Pretty Girl is working on using the doggie door and piddle pads in her foster home. If you want the cutest addition to your home – turn in an application! She is ready for a stable and safe home. Poor Toby was abused by his previous owners and then left behind to fend for himself after the abusers moved out. Toby is doing great learning to trust humans. Toby is dog selective when it comes to other dogs but is fine with most dogs his size. Toby is doing great on crate training and can be crated after his foster mom worked with him on crating. Toby knows how to use a doggy door and will use a pee pad if he doesn't have access to the doggy door. Toby is very smart and loves all the attention he can get. He loves to spend time hanging out on your lap for love and attention. Toby would be great as an only dog or could coexist with a friendly dog of his choice of course! Toby knows to sit and knows the word no. Toby is vocal when seeing other dogs. This handsome guy who is now part of our Foster to Adopt Program is receiving so much love in his current foster home. She says he is such a sweetheart! Prince was previously part of DASH's Prison Training Program where he learned his basic puppy manners. He is a lot of fun, loves to play and gets along with other dogs. He can be very vocal at times, especially when he sees someone so he would not be the best fit for an apartment. He enjoys an occasional visit on the furniture and can be a little sound sensitive. He can also be protective of his people. At times he will jump on his humans but he's just really happy to be so loved. They are both very chill in the house and prefer to lay on a soft blanket and observe all the happenings at their foster home. They do well with other dogs and enjoys going on walks. They are still working on potty training since they've never lived inside before. They would love a fenced in backyard to run around in! They both can be very shy at first and takes a minute to warm up to people but once they do it's all about belly rubs and puppy kisses. They have not been cat or kid tested. We have him as a Chi-terrier mix but he looks like he has a Corgi butt, so your guess is as good as ours. As with most rescues we are never 100% positive of breed, but we ARE positive this guy is 100% sweetheart!! He has recently started in our DASH Prison Training Program where he is working on all basic commands to become a well-rounded boy. He is housebroken, walks on a leash and doesn't complain in his crate. His trainer says Timber loves to go for walks and just be outside rolling in the yard, he especially likes dragging his belly in the grass. Once he gets to know you he is loveable and friendly, preferring to sleep and snuggle right up next to you. He likes to play with the other dogs but doesn't appreciate it when they get too rough. He has not been cat or kid tested while with us, so a meet & greet is in order.
