There were far too many children(6) to pick on me. I've been with my foster mom for a year now and I think we have a few things straightened out, regarding what kind of a home I need. I need an off the grid owner. Do you growl at children? I getcha. Nothing wrong with that, as long as you stay away from the little monsters. Are you a private person,me too. I'm currently living in a quiet country home with a fenced yard where I can expend some energy chasing the squirrels. We have a routine and infrequent visitors. There are other little dogs here and we get along fine, but I do not like strange dogs and would be best as an only pet. I like to play with squeaky toys, rope toys and nyla bones, am reliably house and crate trained and love to ride in the car and snuggle with foster mom when our day is done. I will be 3 years old soon, weigh 19.5 lbs. and have the cutest underbite. I am healthy, low maintenance, caught up on all my vaccinations and heart worm negative. I am VERY REACTIVE to new people and situations(stranger danger) and will bark and show fear aggression. I can be worked through this, if you have experience at socializing reactive dogs. It will be a work in progress to help me. IF YOU HAVE A QUIET HOME, WITH NO CLOSE NEIGHBORS OR CHILDREN, we could be best friends. I would love my very own human being buddy. But we are thinking he is going to more on the 25-30 lab range at most as he is only 7 lbs right now. He will require going to a grooming on a regular basis. Due to his mix of a total of 17 breeds, He is NOT hypoallergenic, He does shed. This animal is current on all age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed/neutered or will go home with an already scheduled appointment. They have also been given flea prevention. Macadamia is a 1 ½-year-old Chihuahua with a big personality packed into a tiny frame! This sweet and affectionate little pup bonds quickly with her person and loves to be by your side—literally. This spunky and active pup is always on the move—until you sit down, and then she’s ready to settle in for snuggles. She absolutely loves toys, enjoys playing fetch, and is a fan of chewing on bones and antlers. She’s also very food-motivated, which makes training a breeze! She’s already working on commands and has almost mastered `sit.`Macadamia does well in a crate when left alone, but she’s still working on housebreaking. Right now, she’s pee pad trained and isn’t a fan of going outside—especially in cold weather! As the temperatures rise, we think she’ll get more comfortable exploring the outdoors. She would do best in a home with a submissive and tolerant small dog companion, as she has a dominant streak and isn’t afraid to take on bigger dogs. She can also be a little protective of her person, so continued training and correction will be important. Because of her tendency to be underfoot and guard her person, Macadamia requires an adult only home. Macadamia is still learning about the world, including how to walk on a leash and how to settle in the car—a crate or seatbelt harness is recommended for car rides.
