Pandora is an 8 lbs sophisticated soul who knows how to share her opinion. She was pulled from the shelter after being found as a stray. She was obviously someone's pet and she is feeling a bit betrayed by humans. Once she warms up, though, she is funny and playful. She knows how to 'sit pretty' for treats and will even get the zoomies. She seems to prefer males but she will warm up to anyone if given the chance and time. In fact, once she feels at home she will be a velcro dog. She loves to be anywhere here human goes. She is not recommended for a home with children. Pandora is ok with other small, respectful dogs. Hello, my name is Twiggy. I am a ~1.5 year old chihuahua mix! I am a spunky girl who loves to play with plushy toys, follow you around the house, sit in your lap, and be your best friend! I know a bunch of tricks including, sit, down, wait, crawl, shake (with both paws depending on which hand you ask with), and am learning how to spin and do the spanish walk. My foster mom says I am a super smart young lady and learned how to sit in less than 5 minutes. I can be shy and timid when meeting other dogs, but warm up within a few days. I have 9 other dog friends that my mom lets me play with and I love them all and look forward to the evening visits! I am also friends with the 8 barn cats, especially Purrito - we play tag back and forth! Mom cannot wait to get our games on video! I do not chase horses, in fact I ignore them and go about my job of "barn dog." My ideal home has a yard where I can zoom around and play! I love doggie doors and have zoomies once or twice a day. Otherwise, I sleep by my foster mom's desk while she works. I prefer to have a canine or feline best friend, but would also be happy as an only dog. I am potty and kennel trained and never whine in my kennel. I walk on a leash and stay near you off leash. I am great with other dogs, cats, horses, and dog friendly children although I may be shy and timid at first. Est. DOB: 4/1/2023, male, neutered, chipped, currently 13 lbs, chi mix BenTen is a small chihuahua mix who is passive, loves human contact, and is motivated to please his human. He gets along well with other dogs, but will give a low growl if a large dog comes too close. When his human is away for any length of time, he is exuberant and pushy to get his attention. He has started playing with toys and especially loves the noisy ones! He has a timid personality, is scared of the doggie door, but is working on his potty skills. He was found running scared along a busy street with another small dog. It took well over an hour to catch them as they were barking, running scared in and out of traffic, but once they had a slip lead on, it was clear he wanted to be loved. He sleeps well in a kennel overnight, waits patiently for his food to be ready, and doesn't steal food from others. He is the sweetest most gentle little guy and can't wait to show you how much of a difference he can make in your life! Please consider making this gorgeous boy a member of your family.
