Story
Meet China, she is a 9 yr old 10# chihuahua. China came to SPR from a chihuahua hoarding situation. Multiple dogs ran free in a basement, which means she just had litter after litter. China's leg got hurt when she was 3years old. Her owner did nothing. SPR has stepped in to help China. The vet had to amputate her leg. Yes that means she is a little tripod. She is doing great and gets around like nothing is wrong. She is crate trained, leash trained, and potty training. China lives with 5 kids, 2 cats, and other dogs of all ages and sizes. China loves everyone she meets. If you have a warm lap just for her please go to SandiPaws.orgFast forward to today China was adopted out when she was about three years old. She recently has come back to us because her adopter has fallen very ill. Once again little China’s life has been turned upside down. She is adapting quite well to her foster home (which is the foster home she was originally with when she first came to SPR). China is looking for her forever family, where she can just stroll down the road on a nice casual walk , a nice cozy lap to sit in, a bed to sleep in with her perfect family member. China is completely up-to-date on all of her shots. She is a very healthy little girl. If China sounds like a perfect match please reach out to Sandipaws.orgThank you for your interest in a Sandi Paws Rescue, Inc. Please visit our site at sandipaws.org for more information on our organization or to fill out an application to adopt one of our pets. You can find information for volunteering on our site as well.

Name: Matilda Age: 1 year Breed: Chihuahua Mix Gender: Female Weight: 15lbs Good with kids: She can be very skittish around the fast moving children but may do well once fully adjusted.  Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: yes Current on vaccinations: yes Fixed: yes  Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork.   Foster location:  Application & Website: &#226&#129&#166https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html&#226&#129&#169   Bio: Matilda came from Texas from a hoarding situation and will do best in a home with someone who is willing to provide her the patience, time, and love she will need to adjust to a home life. She comes out of her shell more each day and loves to follow foster mom around. She is also a fan of treats and will gently take them from you, Matilda has been very good at going potty outside as well despite the cold. She likes having a safe space which is her crate and she tends to hoard toys in it! She has the potential to be a great girl! Matilda does not mind being around other dogs and cats. She is timid and will do best with slow interactions with her human people. She is learning not all humans are bad humans.    Our Pack Animal Rescue,  Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. An approved application does not mean you must adopt the dog of interest, if it isn't a good fit.February 10, 2025, 10:32 pm

Story
Name: Luna Age: 1 Breed: chi mix Gender: female Weight: 7 lbs Good with kids: unknown Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: no Current on vaccinations: Yes   Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork.     Foster location: Green Bay Application & Website: &#226&#129&#166https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html&#226&#129&#169   Bio: Sweet Luna is a special girl looking for a very special home. Luna aka Luna Lu joined rescue after being surrendered by a family who loved her.  Luna was born a little different, and never saw a vet until becoming an OPARI pup. Luna has a very small mouth, and about 5-6 teeth toward the back of her gums. As you can see, her tongue hangs out of her mouth. She also has a paw pad that looks a little different than the rest. Luna was a product of her mother mating with one of her own sons. Her labs were not concerning, and she has been brought up to date on routine care such as vaccines, heart worm testing, and prevention. Concerns to note are that her tongue may become dry down the road, and the need for a pet safe oral treatment may present itself. She should also remain on topical flea and tick prevention rather than oral.  Luna is dog friendly, but can become quite spirited while playing. She does well as far as sticking to doggy friends who have initiated play, and not instigating with unwilling participants.  Cats are an absolute NO. Luna did live with a small child in her family home, but prefers a quiet environment so older kids if any would be best. She is very shy at first, but a total cuddle bug once she warms up.  Luna does get car sick, and is not accustomed to going for rides-but is mellow in the car.    Our Pack Animal Rescue,  Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. The unknown is the the theme for these babies. We have no idea of any parents as they were bottle fed babies. We have submitted a DNA test but it will be about 3 weeks.  Name: Shark Age: 8 weeks  Breed: unknown mix- pending DNA test Gender: Male Weight: 2-3# Good with kids: yes Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: trainable if willing to work with a puppy Current on vaccinations: Yes Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Foster location: Appleton  Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Bio: Warning cuteness overload ahead! These vacuum puppies arw super adorbs and getting ready for their forever.  Shark is a hungry little growing boy, this guy lives to eat! He is always looking for his next snack, at least we can say he is food motivated!  Due to the fact that we do not have any idea of their breed mix homes with size restrictions should not apply for one of these pups.  Puppies are puppies and will scratch, nip and jump. They have accidents, chew things up and take work. Please do not consider adopting unless you are prepared for this lifelong commitment.  Our Pack Animal Rescue,  Inc. Foster location: Green Bay Application & Website: &#226&#129&#166https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html&#226&#129&#169 Bio: Peanut is a precious old man looking for a retirement home. He found himself in a Wisconsin shelter when his previous owner was facing homelessness, and we were honored to help! Peanut is fostered with several other small dogs and does very well with them. He has not met cats or kids during his time in rescue but is social with men and women alike. He isn’t one for jumping on furniture but is happy to come snuggle with a little assistance. He enjoys a good meal, but hasn’t been super keen on treats. He has been wearing belly bands in his foster home, but doesn’t fear the snow when he goes outside. Peanut is a good boy for nail trims, and really just overall.  He does have a grade 5 heart murmur, but does not currently need any meds. He will be getting a dental as soon, as his labs came back normal!  His vibe is chill, his face is cute, and his demeanor is sweet!  Our Pack Animal Rescue,  Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue.
