I was given this dog when he was a puppy, he's been living with us for about 4 years and was healthy the first two years, until 2023 when he started to present bald spots and flea infestation. I went to the vet several times and he was given medicine, but because the bills were beyond my reach I stopped going to the vet and just relied on local medicine and habit changes. Since the beginning of this year, I have had to put my dog outside because the flea infestation was too much to have inside, the scratching became more severe and blood started to come out. I tried to go to the vet as an emergency but they were charging me more than $1k for an exam, I couldn't afford it so unfortunately I had to rely again on local medicine, but it seems that this year his skin became even worse. Sadly I decided to rehome my dog as I can no longer see him in this condition. I feel like he's suffering in this state and I hope someone can adopt him and afford him a better life.

He came in with other siblings, they were having to sleep in the cab of the u haul for a couple of nights until a rescue was found. He is good with other dogs and children. We are opening the application process for ELDAD PUPPY!!! This teeny tiny little kid was hit by a car and turned in as a stray to a local high kill pound! He sat there for days with fractured legs, then was scheduled for euthanasia! Luckily he came on our radar and we collaborated with Hope for Paws to get him the medical care he needed! This kid is as good as new, and ready to find his happily ever after! This is the sweetest, happiest boy that could ever be! He loves other dogs, loves cats (see video), loves life! He is potty trained, crate trained, and knows some basic commands. He will stay small, and will thrive in just about any environment where love is involved! Donut is a loving, sweet, super smart 6 year old Chiweenie we rescued as a puppy. He has been an adored member of the family, and quite frankly, was our first baby. Unfortunately, we made the heartbreaking decision to rehome Donut, due to him not adjusting well to a new baby in the family. He is accustomed to getting all the attention and is quite jealous of the focus now being on the baby. We no longer have the time and resources to meet his needs. Donut is a true lapdog, incredibly affectionate, loyal and the best cuddle bug. He is naturally anxious, likely due to his breed, and tends to connect with one owner. He needs to be adopted by a very caring, patient, loving person who is home a lot (works from home) and can provide attention. When left in the home, he needs another dog/someone in the pack to keep him company. He gets along well with dogs, is fun, energetic and friendly towards people.
