Hammy is sweet, gets along with other dogs, and has the cutest apple-shaped noggin you’ll ever see. Although she’s a senior, she still has plenty of energy for playing pickle ball, knitting, and telling you about all the neighborhood gossip. Here’s some notes from her foster: Gail is a petite, short legged chi who wants to be your best friend. She can be shy at first but warms up quickly and then just wants to be nearby her favorite person/people. She would likely do well as an only dog or with a pal to hang with, especially if you are away from home a lot. Being that she is small and in her senior years, we believe she would be fine with children who are older, respectful, kind and gentle with her. Hammy is housebroken and has not had an accident inside. She eats well and has put on a little weight, which she needed. Since we don't have stairs, we don't know if she will be great at stairs or not. She mostly hangs out in her bed at my feet but also checks out the world at the living room window. She has a little bark when new people come to the house but will stop when you tell her to. She is okay at home alone (with my other dog) but will whine a bit at first, then settles in her bed until you return. She clearly would prefer to go with you on your adventures!

This adorable boy is looking for a special someone to share his life with. He had cataract surgery and his eyesight was restored, but he will be on an eye drop once a day for life. He is a total sweetheart who loves people, although he takes longer to trust men. Finnegan is a companion dog that wants to be near you. He is not suited for apartment living. We are looking for a single family home where someone works from home or is home more often than not. He is social around other small, calm dogs and can be placed in a home with cats.
