Story
We got Luna from a coworker in June 2023. She is 1 year and 3 months old. We are ideally looking for someone with a backyard and possibly other small dogs for her to interact with. Luna is scared around big dogs but is much more confident around other small dogs. Unfortunately, the dog park at our current place is not well-kept, causing her to get sick several times. Since Luna loves being outside, it would be great if her new home had a nearby dog park or someone with the time to take her there regularly. Luna loves people and gets super excited around them. She loves to cuddle and has boundless energy.

Story
I found Oscar at a Humane Society in KS in 2022. They were unsure of his age, but positive that he was at least 3 years old. After recently moving to Texas, and because of my living situation, he has began to develop behavioral issues by being aggressive towards other animals within the home. He is very sweet, loving, and affectionate, but can be protective of his owner. Because of these issues, I would like for him to go to a home that does not have other animals, to an owner that is willing and able to spend lots of time with him, and is willing to take the time to help Oscar adjust to his new home.

Story
Pepper is very sweet, smart, but somewhat stubborn. My sister, who has severe anxiety, adopted her as a puppy, but couldn't deal with her. I have her now and am housetraining her and she's doing great. I'm also training her on basic commands and ensuring I do not repeat the behaviors she became used to encountering with my sister. She's scared of the command "come," which means "You are going to your crate!" I say, "Crate" and give her a treat. We are also working on basic training. She is good with some dogs, but not those who are territorial. Not sure about cats. She's good with kids. She needs someone who is patient and either has a decent sized room for her to chase a light in or a yard so she can run a couple of times a day. She is 14 months old.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Adoption info can be found in the last paragraph of this pet's profile or by visiting this direct link:   https://www.dfwpuppatrol.com/info/adoption Hi! My name is Jack! Sometimes known as "Jack Jack", "Jacky Jack", and occasionally "Knock it off you little turd". My life didn't start out so great....I was born in a bad place. So bad that one day some people in uniforms came and took me and my family. They said we were safe but that place was loud and scary...lots of barking dogs and strange smells. I went home with a family and lived there for about a year, but unfortunately I was just not a good fit for them. After all of that it's no wonder I am pretty shy with new people. My foster mom has been working with me to boost my confidence and she has taught me that taking walks and riding in the car is not so bad (still skeptical of the car thing though.) She also taught me this thing she calls "sit"....it's where I put my butt on the ground and she gives me a treat. I do love the treats! I pretty much just love food...treats, snacks, chew bones, table scraps ;-). I also love other dogs. I love to play and can get pretty spunky. I love to get the other dogs to chase me. I also love to chew on sticks outside or just take naps in the sun. Once I am comfortable with my person I will give lots of kisses and love to snuggle. I am fine sleeping in my crate at night, but I wouldn't mind sleeping in the bed if I'm allowed. I am completely house trained, don't get into things or chew on things I'm not supposed to, and am crate trained. My DNA results show that I am American Pitbull Terrier mixed with Chihuahua, a little Parson Rusell Terrier, and few other mixes sprinkled in for good measure. I am a small size of just 24 lbs and I was born in January of 2022. I will definitely bond quicker with a woman and I will need to go to a home with another dog(s) to play with. No young children for me please...I like a chill environment.   If you are interested in adding this pup to your family, please click here (or copy and paste https://www.dfwpuppatrol.com/info/adoption into your browser) to view our adoption info and where you will find the link to fill out our online Pre-Adoption Application.  Any questions can be directed to us at info@dfwpuppatrol.com.  All of our adoptable pups have a minimum requested adoption fee of $250  (pups 6 months and older) and $350  (pups under 6 months old), regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 8 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
