Story
Young chihuahua mix is searching for the right fit to be his forever home. He is a Velcro dog and wants to be in your arms and cuddled up very close to his human. He would make a good lap dog and wants to sleep at your feet. No aggression and no bite history. Has not received any training. This sweet animal does have some challenges being the reason why he hasn’t found the right fit for a home yet; the main one being his anxiety. He is insecure and skittish. He becomes anxious whenever he isn’t around his human and will whine and search. He will chew when alone or when bored and has chewed carpet. The ideal setting for him is with someone able to take on the work of giving him a stable routine, exercise, and training. He has potential! He was surrendered to a rescue as a young pup. We are his second attempt at a home but the busyness of children and other pets is not helping his anxiety. Friendly with kids but maybe a quieter home (with no carpet) may be best.
