Story
Hullo? Are you there? My name is Joe, I am 13 years old, 19 lbs, and I am a handsome Cocker Spaniel. I have hearing loss, and vision loss, so let us work together on communication, because I already know that I absolutely want to be your boy! I was rescued from the county pound by the great folks at Forever Loved, because I really did not have a chance at making it to the adoption floor there. Forever Loved saw the beautiful dog that was underneath a matted, stinky, ungroomed coat, and my terrible neglected ear infections and loss of vision did not deter them at all. I had my crummy teeth pulled, my ears thoroughly cleaned out, my hair cut, and a thorough vet visit, and am now on the search for that just-right home! My bloodwork came out great, but I will probably have to have ear and eye drops for the rest of my life. I love other dogs, I love everyone I meet, and love going for walks. Walking me on a harness makes it so easy for me to follow your gentle physical prompts and keeps me from bumping into pokey things, like cactus. In my new home, it will take me a bit to learn my space and where the potty spot is, but if you are patient, the wonderful folks at Forever Loved will teach you the best way to show me. Although they love me so much and adore me like crazy, I would really like my own home to spend the best of my life in. Could that be you???

Story
Hola amigos! 🙂 Yo soy, Remus! I am a Mexican Hairless Cocker Spaniel just under 2 years old. I am a little shy at first, but before you know it, the love bug in me will come out straight out! Once I warm up to you, my affection knows no bounds. I am a social butterfly with other dogs, big or small, and I adore playtime with my furry pals. Toys are my absolute favorite, and I am always up for a game. While I haven’t had much exposure to children, my current foster family believes I’ll thrive once I am comfortable with them. I seem to prefer the lady dogs over male dogs, and I’m great with cats. My fondness for snuggling on the couch and giving big dogs kisses makes me a delightful companion. I’m kenneled during the day while my foster is at work, but a pro at the doggie door- it’s a must have for me to be successful. Another must is snuggling with my human- if you don’t like snuggles, I’m not your guy. Although I am not a fan of car rides, I will gladly join you in bed for a cozy snooze. I am in search of a patient and loving family who'll appreciate my cautious nature and provide a calm environment for me to flourish. Could your home be my forever haven? https://forms.gle/676xUcmeQi9kdjn96

Please contact Constance (connibouchard@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Rescued dogBiography Important Information Please read! If you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train.  Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue.  However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children and we do not know how they will react. Hi! My name is Fanta, and I am a little Cavapoo girl who is 3 years old, and I weigh 10 pounds. I need a quiet, all adult home with a socialized sibling to learn from. If you have been waiting for a little Cavapoo to love, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org. Love, Fanta 071523-10  August 18, 2024, 7:09 pm
