Story
Yuna is approximately 2 years old and weighs around 20lbs. She's a happy, playful, and energetic dog that's seeking a human who can keep up with her! Yuna is incredibly smart, loves to play fetch, and would make an amazing running/hiking/adventure partner! And while she will chill out near you after burning some of her energy off, she’s not much of a lapdog and would be best suited for someone that wants a more independent pup. Yuna is great with other dogs and loves all people. She's crate-, leash-, and housetrained, knows her basic commands, and has been well-socialized to all sorts of sights and sounds. She's UTD on all vet care and has no major medical or behavioral issues. A fenced yard/SFH is *not* required to adopt her, but please only apply if you're someone who wants an active companion!

Story
Name: Olive Breed: Cocker Spaniel Age: 8 Personality: Easygoing and Loving Likes: All Furry Friends & Human Friends (Kids and adults) Health History:Overall I am happy and healthy girl. I do have dry eyes (which in dogs is called KCS) but just like humans, all I need are eye drops everyday to treat this, and I sit like a good girl to get them. I am a Cocker Spaniel and we are prone to ear/skin infections too, but everyone has their "thing" right? Hi, I'm Olive, a gentle eight-year-old cocker spaniel whose big heart is ready to love you! Though I may be hard of hearing and have poor eyesight, my resilience and loving nature shines brighter than ever. I am the most loving soul and thrive in a peaceful, stable environment. I am incredibly easygoing and just ask for the warmth of a caring hand. Though I can’t see or hear, I communicate my affection in the most tender ways – a nuzzle here, a soft sigh there, and honestly, my tail rarely stops wagging! Each of these things is an expression of gratitude for my second chance at a beautiful life with a family of my own! My foster mom says my world is one of texture and scent, and I have become a master at navigating my surroundings using my heightened senses of smell and touch. I have been able to map out my surroundings without much trouble, finding my favorite napping spots and the coziest corners to curl up in. When it’s time to rest, you can hear me snoring away!  While I enjoy a slower pace, I still fill my days with simple joys. I adore leisurely strolls around the yard and belly rubs. I also enjoy the gentle company of other calm pets. I am happy to share my space with another dog or a peaceful cat. My foster family has two small children that I enjoy having around. I could thrive with all types of siblings (furry or human) or fly solo! I am perfectly house trained and when my foster family leaves me home they say I am so well mannered that I don't even need a crate! I like to be a free roamer. They say I'm the goodest girl!  I'm looking for someone who understands my breed and the eye, ear, and skin issues we have might be best for me, but I could be open to new learners too. I am a champ with taking my medicine and getting my eye ointments and the issues don't slow me down! If you think I could be a good fit for your family, hurry and complete an application! I am so excited to meet you!  ##2123150##

Story
Say hello to Coop! This sweet approximately 3-4 year old dog came to us from a shelter where he was found as a stray. Coop did not like the shelter life and they reached out to us to see if we could rescue him. Coop was someone's dog before because he came to us already neutered and potty trained. He is very loving, and while he can be slow to warm up to new people right away, once he knows you are a friend he will sit by you for love and pets and attention. Coop gets along with dogs both big and small. But he also would be a great only dog. We think he is part spaniel. Please apply for this sweet man at apply.neshamarescue.org

Story
Honey is just as sweet as her name and her foster mom calls her Honey Bunny. Her owner loved her so much but she passed away so she came to live with us. Very loving baby girl. Loves to snuggle and likes to follow her humans around.  She is a 13-year-old, chubby, Cocker Spaniel. Her favorite things are snuggling with her foster mom and watching television. Honey has severe ear infections and a tumor on her left rear paw that will have it taken off as soon as possible. August 15, 2024, 10:17 am
