This affectionate pooch is simply a well-kept secret in search of someone who is willing to give him a second chance. Our boy Chorizo is a six-month-old Coonhound Mix with a truly soulful face. His short coat is mostly black and brown, but there touches of white, too. He currently weighs 34 pounds and is expected to be a large fella (over 60 pounds) when fully grown. Chorizo is a very friendly, medium energy social butterfly who gets along easily with children and other dogs. His behavior around cats is unknown and all lead, crate and house training are works in progress. Chorizo is a pup who will turn a house into a Love Shack! But he needs a great home with someone who has the time, desire and energy to train and socialize him so he can become an amazing lifelong companion. Heaps of affection are important, too! If Chorizo sounds like the pooch, you have been searching for, you would be wise to act without delay. The adoption fee for Chorizo is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees.
