Story
Looking for an active and affectionate companion? Meet Django, a spirited coonhound mix ready for his forever home. Django is a young coonhound mix who is crate and house trained. He loves hiking, swimming, and outdoor adventures, making him the perfect companion for an active lifestyle. Despite his energetic nature, Django also enjoys cuddles, belly rubs, and naps. He is friendly with children and other dogs, though he might not realize his size around smaller children. His adventurous spirit and prey drive mean a fenced yard is ideal for his explorations. Due to his prey drive, Django should not be in a home with cats. Django loves people and has a typical hound temperament, while still being very trainable with patience. He is fairly quiet for his breed. He forms deep bonds and prefers not to be left alone for long periods, making him best suited for a home where someone is around frequently.

Story
So, usually the pair, Bonnie and Clyde are running AWAY from people, right?? WELL, NOT US!!! We were found on the side of the road running TOWARDS the rescuers! Skinny and sad and STARVING we were just waiting for the right people to stop and save us :) We went straight to the rescue and are loving the life of a rescued pup... of course, we are ready to "steal" away to YOUR house any.time...... ;) We are big pups with lots of growing to do, we will be the size of the coonhound versus a lab. Adopt one of us soon!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)
