Size

Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Greta is almost fully house trained, and has learned to use her potty bells to let you know when it’s time to go! She is kennel trained as well! She knows her basic commands like sit, down, stay, touch - and more to come with time. She is VERY food motivated so training is a breeze! She loves other dogs and could play all day long. Greta is living with 3 cats currently, and is pretty convinced they’re dogs too. Cats that are used to dogs or that have a sense of humor would do great with her, but she is still just a puppy. With time, she can definitely learn to use a little more tact with kitties. Story
Fergus, a charming Coonhound, is now a transformed and happy dog at the shelter, thriving on love and attention. He is well-behaved, enjoys the company of other dogs, and appears to be comfortable around children. However, due to his hunting instincts, it is recommended not to introduce him to cats. Overall, he is a very sweet dog and would love a forever family to call his own. If you have questions about Fergus, please contact us or feel free to come by the shelter during open hours.

Story
Leia is a wonderful, sweet dog, who we adopted, along with another dog, from Wayside Waifs. She is 3 years old. We are looking for someone who would be able to play with her more, and who has a house better suited to her high energy hound dog behaviors. There is absolutely nothing dangerous or "wrong" about how Leia acts - she's just very high energy! We are sad to let her go because she is very, very sweet, but we would be happy for her if she found a better home.

Story
Athena proves how different dogs can act pending environmental or health changes. Athena loves to use her nose, she LOVES her people / family. She's made it clear shes not a "city" dog. She does far better in less traffic / less chaotic situations. She can also climb a tree or two. Athena has done great with me, my dad and my two sons. She has been fine with all of our barn cats. After an adjustment, she's done fine with dogs through neighboring fence lines as well. She has played well with two other dogs at separate times. Athena loves her treat puzzles and snuffle bowls. She loves having a routine and boundaries. She gets SO excited to see me and does the boot scoot zoomie across the yard.   Athena loves me so much that if I leave the yard with her in it, she climbs out. I would love to find her an understanding home without big dog park, visitor, leash walk expectations. She's completely content in her home and her backyard. Athena is ready for a foster or adopter! Please apply to meet her today. k911foundation.com/adopt August 18, 2024, 1:15 pm
