To learn more about Apple, please get in touch with dogs@lostdogrescue.org Apple will be attending one of our adoption events coming up this weekend! To learn more about our upcoming events and to see which event they will be attending, please visit our event page at https://www.lostdogrescue.org/events/ (*please note that the specific event pages are typically updated on Fridays with information on which dogs will be attending which events*) Meet Apple, the golden girl who has a zest for life. The combination of her hound nose and innate curiosity brings her to enjoy her surroundings. Apple may have gone to doggy charm school before coming to Lost Dog as she walks politely on leash. She only tugs to let her person know she wants to explore another area. Apple knows her greeting etiquette, always wagging her tail first and then saying hello. Like the gracious gal she is, Apple smiles with her teeth, always poses for the camera, and even knows how to give a goofy look. She has done well with other dogs in the past and has even enjoyed playing with toys! She always puts her best foot forward and is so excited to meet her new friends. Apple is golden to the core and would love to join your family.

Story
Opal is a total sweetie, she loves attention and loves to cuddle. Loves playing with her fosters dogs and is great with the kids in the house. Now she does get overexcited in her play sometimes and needs to be reminded to take it down a notch, but she is responsive to correction and again loves the attention. We think Opal needs a loving but experienced family who has another confident dog who can help her steady herself when fear takes over. She is a young gal whose past haunts her but we are trying to help her realize the world ain't so bad. We ask that you give Opal some consideration..all she wants is to be with you. She is spayed, and up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives. This dog's adoption fee is $450. ***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs....all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many! Puppies require an adopter who is home a good part of the day to continue their training - no exceptions! They are up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines and preventatives and will need to be spayed/neutered at the age of 6 months. Please note, this pup's immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age and therefore, s/he is not suited for Apartment/Condo living or Town homes without a private fenced yard and will not be able to go to public places where s/he could possibly be exposed to the germs of unvaccinated dogs, such as PetSmart/PetCo and dog parks until s/he is 16 weeks old. Freckles Foundation & Animal Rescue cannot guarantee the exact age or breed of any animal in our care. The age and breed listed are based on information we may have been provided, and the appearance of the animal.
