Story
Looking for a new fur baby? Why not adopt Emsley! This 4yr old Corgi mix is friendly, playful, smart, laid-back, and adventurous. Not only does he take joy in being active and going on walks, but he's also cuddly and adorable. His temperament makes him a great companion and a perfect fit for a family. Emsley is a very good boy who is good with other dogs. Emsley does well with cats (with slow introductions), but is not sure if he like kids or not, as he has not been around them. Emsley is very smart and likes to train. He does well on leash (which is a must cause he likes his walks!), but definitely needs work on coming when called and crate training. If you're looking for a furry addition to your family, Emsley is the one for you! Emsley's adoption fee includes a personalized training program.

Story
Shadow is a 11 yr old medium mixed breed. He has wire type hair, its black and gray. We have had him since he was 2 yrs old. He had bowel surgery in 2021 and is doing great, he does occasionally need some myralax mixed with canned pumpkin to keep his stool soft. He loves to walk and gets really really excited when he sees his leash and loves cars rides, however, he tries to jump out the window if he isnt held or in a kennel. He loves to cuddle and gets really excited and gives tiny nips, dont know why but he does that when excited. The reason were are seeking a new home for him is our grandson is now 1 1/2 years old and is mobile and shadow is very uncomfortable around him. He will growl and bark and runaway. I do not want to take any chances and put my grandson in danger. I also do not want to stress shadow out as he is getting older. Shadow NEEDS to be the only dog and NO children whatsoever. No grandchildren over, no friends kids over, no no kids. He does not do well with kids.

Story
Name: Paws Breed: Corgi / Border Collie Mix Sex: Neutered Male Age: 7 years Weight: 48 lbs Good with dogs? Paws will be happiest as a solo pet. Good with cats? No Good with kids? No Energy level: Moderate. Paws has great stamina for long walks but is overall content to relax. He is calm and loves being outside. Behavioral needs: Is interested in and may chase small animals such as squirrels, bunnies and birds. Animal Characteristics: Paws is a loving, sweet natured pup who is just as happy snuggling on the couch as he is going on outdoor adventures. He did not have the happiest of circumstances earlier in life but he has nothing but love for humans. He will place his head in his human’s lap when he is ready for petting or a walk. When he sees walking gear come out he starts jumping up and down and spinning in circles with excitement! He would be so happy with a loving human who likes to sit with him, go on long walks and pamper him as a one and only dog. Story
Ross (aka Rocket, fka Kiwi) is an approx 27# Corgi mix with beautiful German Shepherd markings and amazingly cute short stumpers. He’s approx 2 y/o, has the softest fur and is a snuggle bug to his people with a strong herding breed personality. He always does his business outside, using the doggie door like a champ. He really loves walks, and learning to loose leash walk. Ross has displayed some people guarding and herding behaviors in his home so he needs an experienced owner who knows how to direct these behaviors. He has been very quick to learn the sit cue and has been learning other fun things. He and his former foster brother were fast buddies (it only took 4 days for them to start playing and chasing each other around the house) but he hasn’t really liked any unfamiliar dogs since then. Ross needs a family preferably working from home or retired who will include him in their daily activities and hopefully give him a job. He's not good with kids and not cat tested but based on his temperament, cats probably aren’t a good fit. He likes to smack talk and will be a perfect security alarm for your home. He requires a secure fenced in yard as he is not a good fit for an apartment situation. Ross loves to sleep in the big bed with his humans and will go occasionally to his crate during the day for a chill out. He's a lover and will shower you with kisses.  If you’re interested in meeting Ross, the first step Is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Ross is neutered, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $400 and we are not doing any out of state adoptions.  August 19, 2024, 2:25 pm

Rebel

Corgi Cattle Dog

Good with kids, Good with dogs, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Rebel doesn't live up to his name at all! He is an approximately 3 year-old, 40-lb Corgi/Heeler blend. He's dog-friendly and respectful kid-friendly (10+), hates his vegetables, and tolerates his crate. When Rebel wants to be pet, he'll wiggle his backside in your direction. On leashed walks, his first instinct is to GO!, but once he settles into the walk, he's pretty good with some pulling to get to the best smells. Rebel has always lived with another dog and would do best with another dog his size to play with. He knows "sit" and he sleeps through the night in his crate. Rebel is house-trained but as with many dogs in unfamiliar situations, he had some marking accidents when he first arrived to his foster home. He's shown some interest in chew toys but hasn't quite learned to spend much time on them. Only apply for Rebel if you are prepared for normal Corgi things like lots of shedding and occasional smack talk. Rebel has not been tested with cats. While he is kid-friendly, the kid needs to be big enough to handle a forty-pound dog who wants to show his love with his whole body. Rebel doesn't necessarily need a fenced yard if his humans are home for frequent leashed walks and outdoor potty time but an apartment situation with shared walls are NOT a good fit since he does like to bark. If you are interested in meeting Rebel, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check and meet with everyone in the home. Rebel is neutered, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $400 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.August 19, 2024, 2:25 pm
