Story
Meet Gunther! He is a loving and loyal Corgi-Pitty mix who’s meant the world to me for the past 7 years and who now needs a new home for the next season of his life. The reason is, we moved in with my fiancé last year, and we have been unable to successfully integrate him with our cats.
Aside from being devastatingly adorable, Gunther is a joy on walks and at the dog park. He is also a great dog for someone who works full-time. He can be left alone for 8 hours and has never destroyed anything in any of our homes. He also gets along very well with kids, particularly my 18-month-old nephew. He is also undyingly loyal to humans once he gets to know them a little.
It is also important to share that Gunther has a history of trauma. When I adopted him, he’d been found on the side of the road with two broken legs. I do not know what happened to him before he entered my life, and he does have some fear-based anxiety, but he showed major improvement after being prescribed Reconcile.

MissyFemaleAge: 2-3 yearsWeight: 48 lbsBreed: Corgi/Terrier mix
Hi! I’m Missy! I am a sweet and smart girl who gets along great with other dogs, cats and kids. I am house trained and crate trained (I have been out for a few hours at a time and do well out of my crate) and am learning to walk well on a leash. Those other dogs excite me – A LOT and I do pull. I went through a recent leg amputation and do really well on three legs! I get very excited when I see a squirrel, but I respond great when corrected on our walks. I love chasing the squirrels and laying in the grass and really spending as much time in the sunshine as I can in my fenced in back yard. I enjoy a good belly rub and cuddles on the couch with my humans. I pretty much enjoy all the attention and affection I can get. I am extremely smart and will require a home that will continue working with me as I learn new skills and work on perfecting current ones. A home with another dog isn’t required, but I do really love K9 interaction and would excel in a home where that is a part of my daily routine. I cannot wait to find a family all my own who will provide me with all the love and cuddles and exercise I deserve! If you are interested in meeting Missy, apply to adopt her at: www.causeforcanines.org. Adoption fee: $350 Must be an Ohio resident and 23 or older. Children must be 5 years old or older.
