When we meet, please let me come to you and after a few careful sniffs, I will nuzzle your hand indicating that it's ok to start petting me. Once trust has been established I will happily soak up all of the affection you wish to give me.I have met, and enjoyed playing with, a variety of dogs. A slow and respectful introduction is usually all I need in order to become familiar with another dog. Many times I want to play, but sometimes I just want to walk along with my canine friend and their people. Small animals and birds definitely catch my attention and I feel they are fun to chase. A 5 ft or higher fence would be ideal for me as I am quite athletic and have impressive leaping abilities. Cats are an unknown factor, but given how much other small animals stimulate me, I may be best living without them or at the very least needing a very slow and very careful introduction. Hera is a charming dog with a heart full of loyalty and affection. She can be shy upon initially meeting someone, but adapts quickly. Once comfortable, her playful spirit and boundless energy shine through. Hera enjoys walks and is currently building confidence on leash. She has been fostered in a multi-animal home and gets along with other dogs very well. She sometimes needs a reminder to give the cats some space. She is potty trained as well as crate trained although she can be anxious when left alone at times. A calm, male companion would be ideal for her. Her foster home is currently working on basic training, including some tricks. She is very smart but can be stubborn. You will need some creativity to keep her engaged while training. Several short sessions as opposed to a long one. If you are looking for a devoted friend who will bring joy and enthusiasm into your life, Hera might be a match. She is Pittie, akita/chow and a mix of other breeds. she will be spayed prior to placement. Rey has the pittie lack of personal space. She is a cuddle dog and will sit in your lap if you let her. She has barked at dogs passing by when she is in our fenced front yard. She is a bit shy initially with people and would do well with a confident male companion. Although she only has face to face contact when we walk them, she has acclimated to the very loud dogs in my house. When she is loose, will playblow to the dogs on the other side of the baby gate. She largely ignores my cats or is intimidated by them. She has a voice and is not afraid to use it when she is hungry or has to go out. crate trained. Very food oriented which helps with training. She is very smart and will need an owner who is willing to give her a job: obedience training, agility, flyball, fast cat. prefer applicant with previous dog experience. Sweet Anna is around 6 years old but still has the spunk and drive of a puppy. She loves everyone she meets and wants all the love and pets she can get. She is around 6 years old and has lived with kids before and is said to do great with them. We would want all the littles to come to the meet and greet to make sure everyone is comfortable together. She will do best in a home with no cats. She would also do best with a male dog and a dog test will be required to see if the personalities match. She loves to be outside for her walkies and letting her zoomies out in the play yard. She walks well on leash and is super smart! She should never be left unattended while outside as she is known to be an escape artist even while in a fenced in yard.
