Story
Hi everyone my name is Jasper and I am about to turn 9 years old and I am a Corgi and pug mix boy that is 24 lbs and my 91 yr old Dad just went into assisted living.   His family is not able to take me and let me live out the rest of my life with them so they have asked Critter Cavalry Rescue to find a foster for me. I'm lucky because lots of people ask them every hour of the day to get a new place for their dog. I'm a good boy but I really don't want to live with another dog. You can see from my pictures I'm quite playful and I have a great smile. I am housebroken and I really don't need a crate because I'm a good boy when loose in the house and I'm minding my P's and Q's when you're gone. I've got lots of great healthy years ahead of me. I'm looking for someone special to spend them with. I need someone that loves a good strong playful medium sized dog that does everything right in life. Because my original Dad never took me out with other dogs much, I am mostly defensive when I am confronted with other dogs on a walk.  They scare me honestly.   I just need to be in a home with no other dog so I can feel safe and secure.  Hard to teach an older dog like me new tricks. But I know someone will just want only ME to be their one and only, so I'm looking for happy people because I'm happy boy. I've got a great outgoing personality and I can help you make more friends if you just take me for walks and let me work my cuteness factor and charm.  I'm neutered, I'm totally vetted and healthy and I'm microchipped. I'm also very ready to spend the holidays with you as my new best friends and forever family . Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com If you would like to know more about me and apply to adopt. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.January 7, 2025, 1:25 pm

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Oh my goodness, this is an sad update.  NAOMI had been adopted by a wonderful lady.  The lady has a male dog that NAOMI just loves.  But, now the male dog is terminally ill and will cross the Rainbow Bridge soon.  NAOMI's owner is going to return her to me because she simply cannot function as an only dog and her owner does not want her to be lonely.   If you have a dog that is looking for a playmate then NAOMI is your girl. The lady who adopted her is in tears with the thought of having to return her but she wants NAOMI to have the best wonderful life she can have and her owner is not prepared to get another new dog so soon after losing her beloved little boy.  PLEASE, if you have a dog who would enjoy a wonderful playmate please contact me.   NAOMI who is just delightful.  Her temperament is wonderful.  She is 2 years old and 25 pounds, a Corgi/Terrier/Shepherd Mix.  She does not have short legs like a Corgi, she is just short in statue.   NAOMI came to me after being found in an apartment with her deceased owner.  I was told that she was so happy to finally see someone.  And I can believe it because she is just happy all the time.  She has that submissive act where she immediately turns over on her back to get belly rubs and she follows me all over the house.     NAOMI gets along with all of my dogs, walks great on a leash and rides in the car without getting sick.  She is crate trained and house trained.  She would make a wonderful companion.  Pictures attached.   If you are interested in adopting NAOMI, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you.   www.roxysk9rescue.org       ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         January 9, 2025, 4:49 pm

Story
Meet Little Man Baxter! This poor little guy's owner passed away and the extended family surrendered him in hopes he'd find a loving home where he would be treasured and loved forever. We won't let this little guy down. Baxter is very smart, curious, alert, playful, energetic and likes to be with his people. He bonds quickly and would do very well in an active adult only household where he will be included in outdoor adventures like long sniffaroo walks where he can move those fast little legs and sniff and learn about his environment until his heart's content. He'd make a fantastic buddy not only for daily walks but also for hikes and all kinds of outdoor outings. He loves playing ball, going for walks and chasing after toys. He loves having an activity or a job to do so he could put his intelligence and little legs to work - they may be short but they sure move fast! A fenced in yard would be a plus as he really enjoys the freedom of running and chasing after his toys. He has an endearing talent with his ears: both up; one up, one down; and a look of no ears at all lol. Baxter would thrive in a home that not only can provide him with daily physical and mental activity but also one that he can enjoy some downtime just being close to his people. He gets along with other dogs, was interested in the cat we introduced him to but respectfully backed off when the cat told him to. He is estimated to have been born around December 2022 and weighs around 40 lbs. He's neutered, up to date with vaccinations and micro-chipped. If interested, please contact us today for an application by emailing adoptions@smilingdogfarms.org Please note, we are always in need of foster homes for our dogs. If interested in making a difference in a dog's life we would love to share with you what it means to be a foster parent.
