Please contact Nancy Anderson (nancya@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.sweet young girl ISO fresh start and love! NANDA NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:  Nanda        Best Guess for Breed: Corgi and terrier mix Best Guess for Age:   6 months as of January 2025       SEX:   Female   Approximate Weight: 16 lbs as of December 2024; she is still growing!   Gets Along With:    Nanda does well with other dogs. We haven't seen her with kids or cats but she can be tested if you have them.   Currently Living at:   DC area foster home.   Special adoption considerations:   Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think Nanda would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure she can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes.    Nanda is Looking For:  Her forever home! This super cute stubby legged little girl was thrilled to be rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico. She's eager to get her very own humans for long sniffy walks and romps in parks to burn off that awesome young-dog energy, and to explore her new world! Trying all the toys to see which she likes best sounds good, as do quality kibble and a cushy dog bed.    But you know what she wants most of all? To know she's safe and loved and under her own roof. To know where she belongs, to be a cherished part of the family. In exchange, she offers all the affection she's stockpiling in the shelter and loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? Is Nanda the one for your home? What My Foster Says About Me:   Coming soon! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $485, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Story
Hi everyone my name is Jasper and I am about to turn 9 years old and I am a Corgi and pug mix boy that is 24 lbs and my 91 yr old Dad just went into assisted living.   His family is not able to take me and let me live out the rest of my life with them so they have asked Critter Cavalry Rescue to find a foster for me. I'm lucky because lots of people ask them every hour of the day to get a new place for their dog. I'm a good boy but I really don't want to live with another dog. You can see from my pictures I'm quite playful and I have a great smile. I am housebroken and I really don't need a crate because I'm a good boy when loose in the house and I'm minding my P's and Q's when you're gone. I've got lots of great healthy years ahead of me. I'm looking for someone special to spend them with. I need someone that loves a good strong playful medium sized dog that does everything right in life. Because my original Dad never took me out with other dogs much, I am mostly defensive when I am confronted with other dogs on a walk.  They scare me honestly.   I just need to be in a home with no other dog so I can feel safe and secure.  Hard to teach an older dog like me new tricks. But I know someone will just want only ME to be their one and only, so I'm looking for happy people because I'm happy boy. I've got a great outgoing personality and I can help you make more friends if you just take me for walks and let me work my cuteness factor and charm.  I'm neutered, I'm totally vetted and healthy and I'm microchipped. I'm also very ready to spend the holidays with you as my new best friends and forever family . Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com If you would like to know more about me and apply to adopt. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.January 7, 2025, 1:25 pm

Story
❗Current location: in a foster home in South Korea❗ Meet Henry👋 an endearing handsome boy with cute unbalanced ears! Henry was found alone on a street in S. Korea at four months old in July 2021 and taken to a high-risk city shelter. Fortunately, having been rescued right before euthanasia by the rescue team, he lived in a crowded private shelter with numerous dogs until July 2023, when he found a foster home. His loving foster family has been taking good care of him since. Henry has learned a lot about how to love and be loved by his people. He is full of charm and can’t wait to show it to his forever family! • Personality: Calm, Curious, Adorable Henry is a calm and independent pup with a strong curiosity! All he needs in the beginning is enough time for him to get himself accustomed to the new environment. He is not a big cuddler, but you can see some of his lovely sides once he warms up to you💕 First of all, his unbalanced ears are absolutely something to adore about him! His energy level is medium-low. He is mostly chill and spends most of his time at home resting. He only gets excited and active when having a walk outside. He is neither a barker nor a destroyer! • Affinity with - Dogs: Generally good with other dogs. He wants to say hi to other dogs on a walk, though he prefers calm friends and tries to ignore barking/hyper dogs. - Cats: No aggression but just excitement & curiosity. - Adults/Kids: Good with adults except loud/aggressive male adults. / He just tries to avoid kids when they approach. • Walking Manners: Well-mannered, pacing with his people without pulling the leash. • Housetrained: Fully housebroken, mainly going potty outdoors but he knows how to use pee-pads indoors when necessary. • Bathing/Brushing: Very good and calm • Separation Anxiety: None. • Barks/Howls: Almost none. Just a little bit when strangers come inside the house. • Car Sickness: in training • Appetite/Food Allergies: No allergies. • Shedding level (1~10): 5-6 • Likes/Dislikes: Henry loves being petted, going for walks, and meat! / He doesn’t like big gestures and sudden loud noise, though he is not sensitive to usual residential noise. If you have an open heart and a loving home for Henry, please don't hesitate to apply!
