Erin will be adopted in the Greater St. Louis Area or the Greater Kansas City Area. We do not adopt to homes with small children. A fenced yard is required. No exceptions. Erin will need a calm experienced home. I’m Erin and I’m 5 years old. We don’t really know what my situation was before I was rescued, but my life is so much better now. I’m very timid until I know no one will hurt me. Be patient and I will become your best friend. Loud noises scare me so no yelling please. Men can be scary but if they talk quietly to me and let me come to them, they can be my friend. I haven’t been around small children. I love going on walks and I’m starting to figure out how much fun toys are. I get the zoomies and will race around for a few minutes then quiet down. I’m good friends with my foster cat brother. I am probably too energetic for small kittens or other small furry critters. My foster mom calls me a silly girl, but I’m just so excited to go for a walk that my whole body wiggles. I’m the true example of a wiggle butt. I’m still working on walking calmly. Sometimes I pull and try to wander from side to side because everything is interesting. I’m working on being friends with bigger dogs. If I can take my time getting to know the bigger dog, I will be ok being near them without getting upset. I’m crate trained and after a minute of barking, I’ll quiet down when I’m left alone. We believe that Erin is a Corgi/Cattle Dog mix. No children under the age of 10 years. Eve would do best in a home with another friendly dog. Eve would like to grace you with her presence. She confidently holds her head up high to let you know how awesome she is. She is not wrong. Eve is an awesome little dog with lots of happiness to share. Eve loves toys and squeaks them until they do not squeak any longer. It isn’t just her toys that squeak. When it is meal time, Eve will squeak with delight in anticipation of her bowl of yummy food being served to her. Eve is great with other dogs and would enjoy sharing a home with another friendly playful dog. She is a very playful puppy who would love to live with you. Eve is house trained, or close. She is crate trained and chipped. She is spayed. A fenced yard is required. We do not adopt to homes with electronic fences. No exceptions. She is constantly on the move, exploring, playing with toys, chewing on everything, and loving all the attention. True to her breed she has been seen herding the kitties. She does have quite a voice and uses it when she is unfamiliar with a noise. She has already learned the stairs to the couches. Plays hard and naps hard like a puppy. Samantha can be shy at first but quickly warms up. She is good with other dogs and is currently teething. She likes to chew on anything and everything, including fingers, so she will need safe items to chew, and not fingers :) Samantha would enjoy a playmate in her next home and we will be seeking a home with a young playful dog or kids. Samantha's adoption is $550. She is microchipped, current on vaccines, and on monthly flea and heart worm prevention. She is not spayed as we do not spay/neuter until at least 6 months of age. A spay/neuter contract will be required and a $200 reimbursement will be paid to your vet at the time of spay/neuter. Applications at leiashope.org. Birdie is a 2 and a half old purebred Pembroke Welsh Corgi. She has her papers, though we never registered her. We are looking to rehome her due to many failed attempts to get her and our other dog to work out their grudges, but ultimately Bird is just not having it with her. She would thrive in a home as the only dog. That being said, other than that, she's a wonderful being. She is herding ball obsessed and has a wonderfully high prey drive. She is full of energy and would do best with a family who can provide her many outlets for said energy (we call them her brain squirrels), with physical as well as mental stimulation. She is very, very bright, vocal, cute, loyal, and affectionate. She always wants to be in your pocket and is actually a really good bag dog. Birdie just wants to be with you always. She doesn't have seperation anxiety but will wait at the door for you to come home. She's a good soul, and whomever recieves her, will be so glad they did.

TEXAS ADOPTION ONLY Hi my name is Cookee, and I'm the sweetest treat of a pup that you'll ever meet. People say I remind them of cookies and cream when I give them sweet kisses on the nose or bump up and snuggle with them when they're feeling down. I am a Corgi Dachshund mix (we think) and medium sized about 30# full grown. Sitting on people's couches or laps is my favorite pastime as I get to snuggle close to the people I love, which is practically everyone! I LOVE OTHER DOGS TOO!! I definitely want a home with other dogs :) As I am a bit on the older side and lived on the streets until I was saved with my babies in my tummy. I have been living at my foster home and am ready for my forever HOME!! I will need a patient and loving family to give me a good life of exercise- LOL, playtime, treats, love, affection, and belonging. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)
