Story
Honey is a super loyal and loving dog. She is extremely defensive of her home. She will bark when someone she doesn't know pulls up and she does not like cats. She is up on all her shots as well as Nexguard. She will let you know when she has to go outside and loves play with her bone, chase her bone when thrown, and otherwise happily lounge on her bed. She would absolutely love to run around a fenced in yard or be taken for walks. Honey is an absolutely wonderful dog that needs a great home. Sadly, I am on the road too much to be there for her enough.

Story
In August of 2022, my story took a turn when I found myself in a city shelter, facing the dreaded euthanasia list. But just when hope seemed dim, a compassionate rescuer spotted me and decided rescue me! While I may appear a bit shy at first, the magic of treats can work wonders in melting my heart. I warm up quickly, especially to the gentle touch of females. That said, it doesn't mean I'm afraid of males. I haven't had the chance to meet children under 13, but my gentle nature suggests I'd likely get along just fine with them. You'll find it's a breeze to pet me, and you can easily carry me around. When it comes to other dogs, I'm a polite greeter, though I'm not always in the mood for play. I'm quite the diplomat and get along well with dogs of all sizes and ages, preferring to avoid conflicts and disputes. Stray cats catch my attention with their mysterious ways, but when my handler calls, I'm quick to follow, showing my obedient side. Birds, on the other hand, don't pique my interest. My energy level is in the moderate range, making outdoor activities a joy, and indoors, I'm very calm. I'm a pro when it comes to leash-walking, as I don't pull at all. Resources like treats, toys, and attention are meant to be shared, and I don't guard them from people or other dogs. While I'm not much of a barker, I may let out a little warning bark when confronted with really loud noises. I'm at ease in a crate during car rides, though I might experience a touch of car sickness and drool a bit. It's recommended not to feed me right before the journey. I'm adaptable when it comes to potty time, doing my business both indoors on puppy pads and outdoors. I'm a brave and loving soul on a remarkable journey, and I'm ready to be your loyal companion. With patience, treats, and a heart full of love, we can create beautiful memories together. Heath -related I recently underwent Guinal Hernia Repair surgery and am on the path to full recovery, expected to be back to my best by November. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Jacks is the protector of his family. He lives to please and be loved. He is very happy doing anything with the family, from cuddling inside, playing on the yard and going for walks. Incredibly sweet and loyal.  He is begging for kisses and pets and giving them easily.  He would LOVE to go to a home whit another dog, but if their people are home most of the time he'd also be happy He and his siblings found themselves in a kill shelter waiting to be euthanized because they were so scared after being removed from their home and placed in a loud place with 150 dogs.  Once they were in homes, each warmed up quickly.    He and his siblings are shy when they first meet people but are a delight very shortly.   Apply here: https://www.pawfectmatch.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=19848044Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 15, 2024, 8:30 am
