Check out Steve Holt! He's very playful and is a very busy guy. So far, toys aren't his thing but a good Benebone or chew stick keeps him busy for a while. His favorite activity is playing with dog friends. We have two small, older dogs that don't want to play but he asks them regularly just in case they have changed their mind. He does like to snuggle with his people too, but be prepared to sacrifice some of your personal space! Steve is almost completely potty trained. He knows to go to the door but we also make sure he gets outside regularly. Snow and cold (within reason) don't seem to bother him. He is crated when we are not home but he sleeps nicely in bed with us. He's also very treat motivated and likes to scan the inside of the refrigerator if he can! He seems to be past the chewing puppy stage unless he finds a pen. For some reason we need to keep those out of reach.  Steve would love to meet you and see if you're his forever home!To view additional dogs available for adoption, please see our website: www.4luvofdog.org January 24, 2025, 9:16 am

He goes in his kennel to eat, nap, while I am gone, and over night. He is super quiet in his kennel, even while the other dogs are loose. Midus is potty trained and has caught on really fast with our routine. He went to a sitters for a week that had no other pets and they said he did really well. He was super happy to see me when I picked him up! He does have energy so sometimes I give my dogs a break and tether him to a piece of furniture, in which he happily sits there and plays with his toys. Midus is really a special little guy.  He is very good with boundaries that I set for him. 1/10/2025 Foster Feedback: Midus is a young single guy that will surely melt your heart as he looks in your eyes. He is a super happy-go-lucky pup and is sure to make you laugh. He isn’t very big aka corgi size. In his mind he thinks he has longer legs, so his actions can be comical. He is all size dog-friendly (I have a 16-year-old blind chihuahua, a 5-year-old boxer mix, and a 10-year-old pitbull) and cat (18-yr-old) friendly with dog-savvy cats. He likes to play with the big pups and listens when you tell him to leave it. He will join the pups when they are sleeping on a piece of furniture. He loves his people and will follow you anywhere, plus snuggle with you at any chance.  He is quiet in his kennel and goes in with a treat. We are working on potty training and he is catching on really well. Midus loves toys and shares with no problems. He hasn’t chewed on anything that isn’t his.  He is very food motivated.  I have not heard him bark, but as he settles in more that could change.  I gave him a bath and he really enjoyed the massage.  He just let me suds him up.  I also clipped his nails and he didn’t have any problems letting me trim them.  He also rode in the car with no issues.  We did a walk and he did great with a harness considering he may have not done it in his past. Midus is super happy and can’t wait to meet his forever family. To view additional dogs available for adoption, please see our website: www.4luvofdog.org January 24, 2025, 9:16 am
