This adorable little baja mutt has such a great personality! She is a young adult who is under 20 pounds and her body resembles that of a doxy so we think she is a chiwennie mix. She was rescued off the streets of Baja along with her 7 young pups. They all had mange and as soon as their treatment was done the pups have found homes and now all that is left of this adorable low rider family is mama Frankie. She is an absolute sweetheart. A greatful beautiful soul who is loving, nobel and just a great companion who will bring you smiles.  We believe this girl was likely chained up or used to chewing on wire/metal as her incisor teeth both upper and lower are fairly worn down. She is crate and house trained and is great with dogs, cats and children. Perfect for first time dog owners and we would love to find a foster or adopter for her. She is currently staying at casa de arwob along with other foster dogs and cats.  To meet this cutie please submit an application online at ARWOB.org to schedule a meet and greet TODAY!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you would like to meet one of our animals, PLEASE fill out an adoption application. Rescued mid december off the busy highway that connects Tijuana to Ensenada. Their rescuer noticed a small little head off a sack of potatos laying on the road and thank their lucky guardian angels they noticed that as they pulled over, walked over andn realized there were 7 little babies just tossed like trash. Sadly, its a common story in rescue and not the first or last time we encounter these scenarios but we are thankful this time none were harmed and all are now done with their quarantines and vetting which means they are READY for adoption. These pups are baja mutts. They range from largest to smallest in the 6-4 pounds and are approx 2 to 3 months old which means they likely will grow up to be in the 15-25 pound range (prob 20lbs) The pups seem to be a terrier mix, some look more like a daschund and others like wire haired terriers. ALL are energetic, happy, loving and social with a beautiful personality who love humans, dog and cats. They are young babies so DO NOT inquire about them if you are not ready to puppy train ei house/potty train. They currently are crate trained and do great. These pups are available for adoption as of 1/1/25 and we are seeking adopters LOCAL to san diego as they have NOT yet been sterilized. They all have appointments mid Jan to first week february. Adopters can meet them now and adopt now (we do NOT place holds on rescues) BUT adopters need to agreet to drive down to the 92104 zip code area for their surgery appointment. Its a early morning drop off and pick up by 1pm SAME DAY. For this reason we can only consider adopters local to San Diego. Please, only submit applications if you are ready to meet them now. Adoptions are typically the same day of meet and greets assuming the meet goes well and applicant wants to adopt. NOTE: Adoption fees INCLUDE sterilization surgery, we just request adopters drops off and picks up the day of surgery. Meet and greets are scheduled in the 92111 zip code and the first step is to submit adoption applications online at ARWOB.orgVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you would like to meet one of our animals, PLEASE fill out an adoption application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Check Me out ! Meet Maisie! This charming 1.5 year-old, weighing in at 45 pounds, is a delightful low rider, thought to be a mix of Stafford Terrier and Dachshund. Rescued from an overcrowded shelter where she was a nursing mom, she has flourished in her new environment. All her babies have been adopted and now it's her turn. Maisie showers everyone with the softest kisses and adores all the humans in her life. While she gets along well with other dogs, she's still figuring out the art of play. It's a joy to see her personality unfold! She is crate, house, and leash trained, sleeping soundly through the night. She knows many basic commands such as sit, stay, and down. She's highly treat motivated. She does best with slow introductions to new people as well as strangers make her anxious, but after a calm walk and treats she's ready to be anyone's best friend. Maisie loves socializing during pack walks and is a calm companion, perfectly content in either a yard or an apartment. She relishes hikes and runs with her foster family. She is an incredible cuddle buddy as well. Is she the right mix of relax and play time that would be ideal for your family? If you're interested in meeting this sweet girl, don't hesitate to apply today! Interest Form: https://amazingstraysrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5860 Her adoption fee is $495 and covers vaccinations, microchip and spay. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Check Me out ! Introducing the adorable Raegan, the most affectionate puppy you'll ever meet. Rescued from a high-kill shelter where she roamed the streets, she has quickly settled into her foster home. She is a little over a year old and around 20-25 pounds. Raegan loves to play with her furry companions and often finds comfort resting on her foster's lap while they work from home. She is both house and crate trained, and rather than being overly energetic, she prefers to snuggle up on the couch for cozy moments.   If you would like more info or would like to schedule a playdate, please fill out an application  HERE. Raegan's adoption fee is $495 and includes her spay, vaccinations, microchip, and flea treatment.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 5, 2025, 7:51 pm
